Well I just used the respawn option in the menu and I'm no longer in the wilderness, so I'm pretty sure it wan't due to outdated files etc. usually associated with spawning in the wilderness. I suspect the server crash caused location to be stored on the master server incorrectly, just a theory. Really annoying though

Something similar happened to me about the time you posted this, I was on UK63, the server crashed/restarted. Once the server restarted I rejoined, now I'm in the 'wilderness' and I have lost my equipment.

I very much like the idea of a walkie talkie you could use to communicate with other survivors you may not know already. What if when near a radio tower you could somehow boost the signal of your walkie talkie, allowing the maximum range to be increased? So if by default you have a 5km range the radio tower could boost it to say 50km

Recently I have accidentally clicked the 'Respawn' option in the menu instead of 'Abort' :/ Although a silly mistake, would it be in any way possible to either completely remove this option or add an 'Are you sure?' Yes/No type option? Just fount another thread regarding this 'issue', sorry :/
