    Cheater on NL38

    We were four people, standing in the school-building in electrosavozk (?), when someone startet to smoke the building. But then he came in, shooting with an MK48, killed two of my friends at the same time (one of my friends was on the second floor, the other one was on the grund, both were flying away about 20 meters), the he killed my third friend, while i shot him with about 40 bullets from my M249... he doesnt care and shot my unconscious... then he jumped down from the third floor of the building, looted another dead body (20 zombies hitted him, he doesnt care) and run away... so I press Alt+F4 and hope, that my friends can help me soon... Edit: Sorry for the bad english...

    Pending Update: Build 1.7.2.4

    I think the respawn-button is really good now! If someone want to spawn at another position, he just runs into zombies or jumps somewhere down, but it takes a few minutes, so it doesn´t make fun, and after the third spawn in kamenka, maybe he starts realizing that there is no fast way for him to reach cherno. What I want to say is: there are always possibilites to restart, but now it takes a lot more time and most of the players won´t try to respawn now because of a "bad" spawning-position, just because it takes more time to restart three (or more) times in a row than just running down the coast to his favorite spawn-positon.

    Experimental 1.7.2.1 test patch

    Is there any chance to roll back to version 1.7.1.5 without reinstall the mod or the game? Or what sould I do to play WHIT saved character stats?

    Progress NOT saved

    Date/Time: 12th July 17:30 GMT(+2) What happened: I rolled back to the coast without anything. What you were doing: Near Balota, on the way back to my first vehicel, a quad. Current Version Installed: 1.7.2 Server you were on: DayZ - RU71 ... Timeline of events before error: I was running into cherno, looting the apartments and the hospital, finding a quad, drive away, hide, dive far away, hide again, drive back to the balota-airfield to save a friend, killed a guy with AKM, tooked the AKM, ran back to my quad, and then the server restarts! Timeline of events after error: Logged into the same server, startet at the coast with nothing near quarry... But it was not the first time, yesterday, on the same server, it restarted after finding a AK74-cobra and a M4A1 at stary sobor!

    Character wiped

    Same here, played two hours (On NL 21 if its important), logged out, logged in on the NL114 Server and spawned in Kamenka at the coast...
  6. Same problem here, me and an friend, using Arma II CO with Steam
  7. My question is, like in the headline, if there are any differences between the loot-chance at servers? I mean, at the first server everything was "normal" : A lot of empty tin cans, some food and drink and less better stuff. At the second server there wasn´t anything! Just wheels and scrap-metal, no food or weapons! And on the third server, i found four alice-backpacks in one supermarket, six guns in one appartment and two military weapons (M4A1 and M1014) in one fire department. Was that just luck/ no luck, or are there diffences? Thanks for an answer and sorry for my english ;-)

    Non-PvP Servers

    There is no posibility to turn PVP off, you can read it here in the FAQ: http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=15 But I agree to you, at the moment there are a lot of playerkillers and no reason for them not to do it. I think this should be fixed, there should be more posibilitys for teamplayer and more (realistic) problems for lone wolfes; maybe what I read in another threat, that you get insane if you kill to much players, or more mechanisms (?) like the blood-pack!

    About playerkiller

    After I was killed a few times without and reason, me and my friends were really frustated: No one was friendly, everybody how has a weapon shoots with it, before he starts talking. The first time it was okay, because we had really good gear and walked blind in their ambush. But the next time i don´t had anything. I just heard a noise and told in the voice chat, that I am friendly. But he just jumped out of his cover and gives me a headshot, without any reason... So at the moment there is no motivation to play in a team: Vehicels are not persistent and there is no other stuff for teamplay, just rare gear for a single person. So there is no reason why NOT to kill another Survivor for his bandage and his painkiller. Maybe more motivations like the bood-pack should be implemented, more impulsions to play together, also with unknown survivors. Sorry for my bad english ;-) Professor Chaos

    Relogger

    There are a few ideas for relogger: Maybe you can fix the problem, that someone, when he is almost dead, just logs out (so you can´t loot or kill him), joins again, and kills you. The same problem with weapon-spawn-points: You can just log out and join another server, and that thousands of times, when you are at a good weapon-spawn-point. So maybe you can fix the problem with the feature you almost tried before, a 10 second outlog-time. And for the other problem, maybe a player can just join three times per hour into any server. PS: Sorry for my bad english ;-)
