+1 I can support every single idea. My most ridiculous death was due to a broken bone (had to suicide because I was literally in the middle of nowhere) And barbed wire was getting on my nerves but then I decided to stay away from popular places and stopped seeing it altogether

Only in self defence. I have beenalive for almost a week and only two murders. Once went to a tower with only one entry. As I was climbing the ladder someone was climbing down. I take a good position at top ask if he is friendly. He says yes, climbs up, gets closers to me while chatting, changes gun in the process, takes a shot and misses. I didn't repeat his mistake. so thank you very much for night vision goggles, gps and DMR with 5 mags.

Is there a policy about what the server names should be after they are moved? I was playing on Dallas 31 and had a vehicle and a tent but server went down on 27th. I am now trying to find it amongst the Seattle servers but so far no luck. any idea?

Guys I have been reading on the forums and it seems that Dallas forums are slowly moving to new locations (from what I have read they go to Seattle and Atlanta?) and one other thread about one of the Dallas servers has been confirmed by its admin. ( http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=22820 ) So I looked at the information about our server and it said that it has been down since 27th but 4 new servers Seattle 130, Seattle 131 and two other have been running since 27th. I am away from home now until Monday so I cannot confirm it, but if I am right Seattle 131 might be our server. Can someone confirm it and post the results? :) (out tents and vehicles should still be there)

same problem as you. yesterday decided to play and found the server as usual, tried to enter it in game but it kept saying that it couldn't connect. tried restarting the game and the server disappeared from the list and hasnt been visible since :( also bummed coz I have a hatchback and a tent full of goodies :(

Hi, I am relatively new to this game and only had it for about a week. I somehow learned the basics and on my current run I was finally lucky to find enough items to survive in the wilderness and avoid big cities looking for tools. (I was also very lucky to find a tent), so off I go into the north picking up ammo hoping to find good gun and set up a camp. Finally reach a really far point in the north where seems like nothing is around for a good couple of kilometres. (I also checked on the web to see if any points of interest are around) , so being pretty chuffed with my choice I set up a camp all surrounded by trees and stuff and as I am unloading spare ammo and food I hear voices of people speaking clear as day. Something like "come out or we will shoot you!" well my heart sank at that moment but without loosing my cool I though I can still try to escape. And suddenly I hear another voice swearing at the guys for killing him, and the original guys laughing at him and saying that they warned him. So it wasn't me who they were after which is good. But I don't know why I could hear their conversation. Doesn't it only appear if they are really close? (p.s. I didn't hear gun shots so either they used a silenced pistol, or melee, or they were indeed really far) Any ideas about this? :huh:

Same situation as you, mate... Went into a 3storey building only to find 5 gangster looking zombies in there and absolutely no loot. Long story short, I am 4000 blood, actually have hatchet, and matches so I can recover in no time only if I can find an animal, but spent at least 20 minutes wondering around forest area and didn't see anything in the blurry mist that resembled an animal... The annoying thing is I actually got a blood pack on me, but don't have a mate to use it with...
