I'm sorry but no. First off, I'm lazy. I don't have the need to stop playing to switch and relocate just to kill someone. I like how your story lacks details. I wish I could remember every scrub I killed. And I don't remembre 734 having a 'x killed y' in the chat so how do you know it was us that killed your friend? We run with atleast 5 people at all times. I'm flattered you think we'd care as much to do that. I'd rather run away than bother with that. Plus, the most fun part of the game is a fresh spawn anyway. And on the final note, we don't "get in battles". If I shot and missed your friend I would instantly relocate. I don't sit there and fight it out -- I usually snipe. So I'll take this as: I died, my friend lost track of them and died. The end. DayZ is fun, eh?

LOL, wow that was me. I'm honored. That is so weird to stumble on this. Nice story -- hope this emails you or whatever so you can see the congratulations! I actually remember this I think. I was going on a 2-weekish vacation the next day and just got back so the timeline fits. Very good kill. I was so turned around that night and had almost been messed up bad by some guy in Balota. I think I was chased by another person after I killed you the first time and that was why I was still by your body. I remember turning around and literally shitting a brick when I saw someone over me! I didn't even have time to think. Congrats on the loot -- I'm not sure what I had but it shouldn't have been anything of value. I probably stashed my stuff before killing myself to respawn somewhere fun down south. Again though, congratulations. That was probably the most scared I've been in this game. Looting a body and turning around to someone standing over me in the dark, lol. Thanks for a good time! We have a server now (US 898) if you are looking for a home and fancy killing me again :-P edit: I hadn't read the whole thing when I replied but man you sure were intense about the situation. I'm not sure if I was a bandit but you probably remember the kill better than me. I don't think I'm a bastard though for playing the game but everyone likes to turn their DayZ story into a sensationalized narrative. We both got what we deserved - you for being in Cherno thinking no one should kill anyone and me sitting on your body for 20 minutes. Also, when I turned around I had no idea you had a makarov -- you could have had a hatchet and killed me at that point. All I remember is how much each bullet hurt when it hit me in the face lol.
