When you are alone, helping other survivors, set up rules first. tell them never to look in your direction with a weapon. You cant trust anybody so you have to control the situation, tell em not to move fast but to move away, point your gun at the head, if he makes one fucking wrong move, kill him. If you do it like that you don´t have to feel bad. he got his chance, he acted wrong, he got shot, so you move on. so long Rudson.

sniping electro! It was an act of revange but you just could have stoped at one point. The video would be really cool if you could have picked the exact guy who killed your brother and shot him in the fucking face, packing up and vanish into the woods leaving the other players terrified. But your killing spree was just to simple and cold, when i meet you, be sure i will pull the trigger without hesitation. stay sharp!

I know exactly what you are talking about, having this huge monsterrifle on your back you feel like a damn christmas tree full of "lootme" candles. I carry this weapon for a while now, about two weeks. It is awesome and the only other sniperrifle i would prefer over the AS50 is the SVD Camo. My problem at the moment is that the Ghillie suit was buggy, and now mine is gone. So everything is more difficult! When i play alone i never visit any places where other players might be. I have 3 waterbottles and i can kill/gut/eat animals. So i don´t have to visit popular places. After one week without meeting any players at all I started wondering.. are there even other survivers! Sounds silly i know but this weapon is like a curse! I got really paranoid and unhappy with it so i decided to team up with others. My job is it now to protect two fellowers and having people around is just what i needed. What do you have from living like a ghost, when you die you die alone, nobody cares and nobody will be there and you will not be rememberd. All i want to say is, find some friends, some guys you can protect, you will feel better about the situation and every group will be lucky to have some guy sitting in a tree, 600m away, capable of blowing a fucking truck up! so long Rudson.

I have the Snipersuit problem, when i go to third person i am invisible..... totally. i hope you fix it, i will not play because maybe other survivers cant see me, and people might think i am hacking! i´ll wait till this is fixed.

... after the outbreak, the government selected the best doctors and experts for virus diseases to study the infected. The mission target was to find a cure against the problem. In secret undergroundlabs near a city with enough electrical power supply they studied infected to find an antidote. The scientists problem was that they couldn´t extract the virus for tests, because it dies after a few minuts outside of the subjects. After two desperate months of failure one of the scientists had the idea to concentrate the virus so it would be more stable for tests. But the head of the operation rejected his request because it was way to dangerous. Secretly the scientist talked a few others into his idea, infact it wasn´t stupid... After one week of secret work they managed to create the concentrated virus but something went wrong, terrible wrong. The last recorded words regarding the incident at the lab came over a distress frequenzy: " something is breaking out of the lab.... never seen such a thing before..., oh my god what is this!!!, its killing us like flies... *aarrrgh* _________________________________________________________ I think it would be cool to introduce a Z more powerfull, as rare as helicopter crashes. The reason why i think it is a good idea is simply put that it is pretty difficult / impossible to finde antibiotics in the game... and so you had some kind of "bossfight" with a little backgroud dropping "one" antibiotics for sure after killing it. so long Rudson.

Time for Revenge! Location: factory building Server: Germany 21 Well rested and prepared my friend and I were heading towards a factory building, it was our target for today we decided a few minuts ago. It was our second day of survival and we had luck the other day so our equipment was nearly perfect. He found an M4 and dear Santa left me a fine sniperrifle i found at a crashed helo. We always walk through forests, nearly invisible with our snipersuits. After a short and secure walk we could see the factory not far away, i checked the distance and took a closer look at our surroundings. Everything looked safe, nothing unusual. He waited patiently till i reached the perfect spot to cover his ass. like a damn ghost i was invisible. He headed off to the building, Zombies all over the damn area. It was quiet and over radio i directed him the best way into the factory. Everything was working as planed when out of nowhere i heard a loud sound, it took me two seconds till i realized that it was a pickup! Damn never seen an vehicle in this godforsaken place! I told him to hurry crossing the street! But the pickup already passed the building. We both took a deep breath and he told me that he already crossed the street and he was lucky that he had the fine snipersuit. His last words. *BLAAM* i heard the sound before he died. The pickup must have stopped. How foolish I was, thinking the pickup just left after it passed our location! I was still under shock, trying to calm myself down. I couldn´t move i just waited. First i was afraid, maybe the next shot will end my life too. But no! i had the best position, he never would have shot if he was not sure that his victim was a lone wolf like himself! Than before i could think more about what went wrong and blame myself for his death, the pickup came back! Fucking bastard! he drove back killing some zeds he just startled. His pickup came to an halt at the exact spot where my buddy was executed. My Rifle an AS50 was already set up, and before this little fuck could get out of his beloved pickup i fired two shots at the engine, it was smoking immediately! he got out, standing directly in my crosshair, the next shot hit his chest, but my rage wasn´t over! i shot another two rounds without hesitation. the truck exploded and burned. It was over in 4 seconds... My partner Malin executed. His death revenged. This story is dedicated to the Survivor "MINI" the stupid fuck who thought its worth to kill for no fucking reasons. Thanks for the silenced M4 and the NV goggls though!

I like the idea but forced coop does not work and it is just not fair for more casual players. Imagine if you only can play two hours a day, or even worse. If you have no friends playing with you, cause not everybody is a fan of dayz, and so on. I think coopgaming should give you a bonus. Add a socialfactor that would be nice, working like a buff. For example: If you are attacked as a member of team, you have more "will to survive" making you bleed less and you are more resistant to stress because you know your not alone in the battle. Such things would be cool, but never make Dayz a game only for people who play 5 hours a day with 10 friends. so long Rudson.

Hello fellow Bandits and Survivors! I am playing the game for about 8 days. I love the game and so I want to share my toughts about it and i am trying to give new players some advice. First of all it is important to know: -Every Player you meet is an survivor but some of them are also bandits!- There is nothing implemented to show the ethos of other players. Basic Rules to stay alive: - Know your keybindings and get used to it! - Never play alone. Try to find players here on the forums or play with friends. - Never run on streets, if possible stay completly away from them. - Never take a risk for loot, if you are not sure if a zombie will notice you always prone (lying on the ground) - Avoid other players and never sneak upon other players unless you want to kill them. Step by Step: As in reallife your char has needs. You see them in your interface on the right side, if you don´t find something to drink and eat in time you will start to suffer till you begin bleeding what leads to death. When you first start the game or die during a session you will always start / restart somewhere at the coast. The first thing you should look for is of course some item for selfdefens against any threat. Items and Guns can be found all over the map in buildings, dearstands and so on. -Rule of thumb: the bigger the building the more loot can spawn in there- After you found a weapon you should look for the main survival tools! - Map - knife ( for gutting animlas) - hatchet (making wood for campfire) - compass (selfexplaining "i hope") - matches (also needed to make a fire) - waterbottle ( can be filled at lakes or fountains etc. ) - binoculars Note: most of this things can be found at the supermarket. Now you have everything to stay alive without the need to visit a city again. The rest i will leave up to you! But some further advice: - The bigger the city the more survivers / bandits and zombies will be there. - With better equipment you become an more interesting target for other survivers and bandits. - Don´t play like a christian or a gentleman. God has already left Chernarus. Morality: You should have noticed by know that a destinction is drawn between Survivors and Bandits. I say thats bullshit! and if you think, you will never kill an other survivor, no matter what happens, you are wrong. I was once thinking that way, got me killed pretty often. by far the best story i have read so far xD! i laughed so hard, and i don´t know... with only an axe equiped, i had rather asked for beans than "hunted" them xD
