Even if there were non-pvp areas there is nothing stopping a bandit from camping outside the designated zone and killing and looting people before they get chance to trade.

If you were wearing a ghillie suit before the latest patch chances are you are invisible to other players now,the same thing happend to me.

I played on this version all day yesterday and now for some reason whenever i join a server all i get is "Waiting for character to create".I've checked that all the dayz files are up to date along with the beta patch and battleye,i'm not sure what has changed since last night.I've joined around 25-30 servers today and got the same message on every single one and if i join a server which is running a lower version of the game i spawn in the debug forest,has anyone found a fix for this yet??

If you click the right mouse button without a weapon enabled you will go into a slow walk,mayble you hit it by mistake.
