Putting on camo clothing & ghillie suits are known to cause backpack glitches. I'm unsure by your wording in your post whether that "animation" was referring to putting on the camo, but I've had two separate friends put on ghillie suits with coyote backpacks, and their bags changed to ALICE packs after the suit was on. -

Most of the bugs and gameplay issues are a direct or indirect result of Rocket's attempt to make this mod within the limitations of the ARMA II engine. Also, hackers.

They can polymorph other players. They can also teleport other players. There's also been reports of hackers turning non-full auto guns to full auto. That's just off the top of my head. Edit: thought of a few more: there's throwing everyone in the server up in the air, teleporting them all to the same location, simultaneously breaking everyone's legs in the server, and now the infamous "thunderdome"

Just put an empty tin can in it first, save it, wait for a server restart, come back, see if the can is still in there. If not, pack it up, repitch it, repeat the process. Do this until the tin can stays in the tent. Then it should work fine. -
