Just found a hacker/scripter on a DayZNamalsk server. I was looting a building when an attack helicopter showed up. The hacker used the rockets to blow me up. The hacker said he would give me gear when i respawned, so that's what I did. When I respawned he teleported to me, landed and started to spawn weapon caches in front of me. I didn't get to see more as I immediately disconnected when I saw the caches. Well, I bought Arma II: CO on the BIStore, wich is the same as Arma II + OA, except you get a "bundle discount". And mine works like a charm. I don't know if Steam + Digital works, but I think having 2 digital copies would be much easier to combine. All I had to do was: Download, Install Arma II, Install OA, and after OA was finished I think it said "Arma II copy detected. Do you want to combine the folders?". I may be wrong though... I would recommend having both digital as they would work together better (I think :)).

Using www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php is better I think as it 1. is the official site and 2. have links for all the beta patches.

DayZ would be too easy if you could simply run away from the zombies...

Would love to join this! Played since DayZ came out, and I've only killed about 2 players (bandits, who opened fire first). Is it required to have a mic? Currently, I don't have one since it got broken... And, are there NO requirements regarding teaming up with other regulators? I like playing however I wan't. So, if following the code is the only requirement, I'm in! :)

I have problems getting the 94444 patch as well.

Any weapon that is not in DayZ can get you banned if you have it in your inventory.

I don't know whats up with your third person, but the error message you get is pretty common for everyone. But honestly, do you need 3rd person? I always play on veteran (SP and DayZ) so in my time of playing Arma, I have NEVER activated 3rd person :P

I know this is Alpha, so I kind of expected this to happen, but I want to know whats going on anyway. When playing some of the new HOTFIXES, I noticed that the debug monitor will sometimes dissappear. After this happen, some wierd things start happening. 1. Zombies will NEVER aggro on me (I can still kill and loot them though). 2. I do not get hungrier or thirstier. 3. After a random amount of time I will return to the same spot where I lost the debug monitor, and get back the items I had at that time. It's almost like a time machine. Note that I can still be seen by other players and I can still kill them. Are anyone else having this problem (possibly everyone?) and is there a way to avoid this?
