Hey all, was just curious, is Dayz known as more of a CPU intensive game? Having some meh results in Standalone System: Gigbyate GA-P55-UD3R Mobo i5 750 Quadcore Gigbyate GTX 760 OC ( Upgraded from Radeon HD5850) 16GB DDR3 Getting around 30FPS to higher ( currently tested in NW Airfield). I've read about different ways to increase FPS, and nothing so far has given me a huge gain. I've tried other games with huge improvements ( the new card roughly shows 100% gain in FPS), but this game did not seem to yield greate results. It certainly seems to work better, but the FPS gain is very minimal. The cpu is a bit dated, but everything I've read and experienced shows that it would be at minimal a tiny bottleneck. Or is this just a case of bad performance that most people receive?

My friend and I were just talking about this the other day... I discovered the mod from a youtube video when it first started...bought Arma2...played it, 6 friends of mine then bought it...(3 of which upgraded or bought new computers to do so), now none of us are playing it. Though mostly due to hackers (we played specifically on one server that was hit daily that a friend had). So word of mouth can certainly make a difference, especially since one of my friends whom I got into it had a semi-popular Dayz oriented youtube chanel. ...what I'm trying to say is, while we understand this is Alpha, whenever "Hey, we should play Dayz" comes up, most of them have a sour taste in their mouth from the recent experience. Each patch that came out solved one thing, and seemed to bring on something else. The OP is just offering some constructive criticism, and vocalizing what's really been going on. If you end up talking to other players, many players were getting fed up. It correlates well with the amount of players these days. It's an Alpha for sure and takes time, but many feel as though it is not being handled very well and are entitled to that opinion. The durastic decrease in playerbase alone should be a concern.

It's the Dayz Gallery forum, people post screenshots and videos. He was playing a video game, having fun, and wanted to post a video. Beyond that, you're merely trolling now, everyone gets you don't agree with how he plays. However there are different modes for a reason, and if you read the forum rules, you're now getting into trolling territory. We get you don't like the video, move on.

I haven't experienced the nuke yet, but I have experienced instant respawners (search in the forum, there are a lot of reports.) Generally you will get "Killed by friendly fire" and he will come right back, needless to say whomever you killed will continually come right back with gear.

This happened to me today as well, on Chicago 60. I killed him in NW airfield barracks, it said "Friendly fire" and he came back. Same player, Zero. I kind of had a feeling he'd come back after reading that, because a few days ago a person named "Cry" had the same exploit/hack against me and my friend (which we posted as well). He's still playing with the exploit as we speak on Chicago 60.

I have no evidence but I can confirm this as well. He was killed by me in the top of the firestation at the NW airfield (with an AK). He then disconnected, reconnected and was back coming after me within a minute or two, I killed him again...this time he had an M16. Everyone in the server saw he was killed twice quickly. He then connected in again and tried to kill me before I disconnected. Even if nothing is done, FYI to all other players.
