I woulnd't say the NW airfield is the goal to go north. I would say its more so just the destination. I try to hit Stary military tents and check fields for Helis. Finding the crashed helicopters is where its at.

SVD may be a one shot kill to zombies.

People can log out if you shoot them. This problem will always be prevalent until they fix it. The sniper would more so only be accurate up to maybe 300 yards MAYBE. Just something small like a .22 rifle or something. Others were talking about puting some use to the crossbow can implemented to shoot some tranq arrow or something like that. I never heard of a zoo in cherno but what do i know. I was thinking mostly only being able to find ammo for it at the hospital.

I think the sniper would be nice because some times people are in groups. Someone wouldnt want to run in with a hand gun to tanq them. If you had a sniper you could pick them off from a distance. I just really hope something like this gets put in.

First off, I am somewhat new to this forum, and I dont know if this has been posted before. Would it be possible to add in a tranquilizer gun both side arm and sniper. This is mostly useful for a survivor. I can image shooting someone with it and quickly see them daze away. They wont die, but they wont be able to do anything for a minute or so. This could allow survivors a non lethal way of being "bandit" without killing. Once they victim is sleepin you can just go up to them take their stuff and run away. Im sure people will hate this but imagine what can be done. A bandit could use it to totally mess with someone ie place bear traps on them, wire fences, idk. I think this would be a fun idea. I dont know if DayZ can mod guns and ammo to do so or only implement guns from Arma 2. Please discuss, yes or no. Would you use it?

I would hope the darts themselves could only be used by the gun required. I know theoretically you could poke someone with it, but that would just make to much chaos. And i would hope these could only be found in hospitals. I know doctors or nurses dont walk around with tranquilizer guns but hey it could add hospitals as another focus point in the cities.

So i found a helicopter crash site. After a quick look I saw a rather large crate by it. Once i looted a pp19 and m107 I checked this crate. Inside were 20 STANAG and 10 SATNAG SD clips. Is this an actual spawn at crash sites or did someone once hack in items here?

Getting killed sucks. Killing and being killed is just part of the game. Yeah I know sometimes you spend a lot of time building up your character and having to die and starting all over completely sucks. To penalize someone for kill. If you were not suppose to kill someone friendly fire would not be on. Its an aspect of the game, and if you don't like it don't play it. The only solution I can think of to prevent babies from raging when they get killed is to have the server host to choose if server is pvp or pve, but to keep it balanced the non pvp servers should have 1 crashed helicopter spawn, and dramatically less loot everywhere. Because lets be honest, how often do you actually die to zombies now? Hardly ever. So with not being able to die by humans people could mindlessly farm airfields without the risks involved.

Hello My name is Broc, and I am a bandit. It has been four days since my last murder. Today I witnessed a guy with a broken leg being chased down by three zombies. I killed the zombies and in turn saved the guys life. I gave the guy a shot of morphine and a blood transfusion. Fighting temptation and the urge to kill this sap I told him to be careful next time and went on my way.

I was in electro on the office building roof with a 12 guage. I witnessed 2 guys kill another. Over Direct Chat you hear them celebrating with eachother for their first ever player kill. They didnt know they pulled 2 zombies though. While they looted the corpse I shot both of them once. They didnt die but were knocked incapacitated. I sat there watching them get eaten by zombies. Afterwards i felt bad. They were turning into little bandits themselves, and I know how much a pain it is to find your buddy, but hey I had fun.

I wish I did. I would have been great to fix him up then put him down. Imagine telling that to a friend. "Yeah some dude saved me from some zombies, fixed my broken bones, and gave me some blood. After all that he killed me." =D
