Im not bad but not great at the game, looking for some mature people to play with preferably with real world military experince. my play stly is generaly nice unless provoked. occasionaly ill take someone out for supplies if im in a bad way.im near stary right now.

Im hoping to write a paper for one of my classes about how much people work together or kill each other in dayz as a function of resources available. I have a feeling if food and resources are scarce theres less team work. so im looking to find out the rate of resource spawning versus number of murders and average life span for different builds with variations in resource availibility. Any ideas on how i could get this information from developers? i dont want to just pm them and be irritating so im hoping they will see this and contact me but suggestions are appreciated.

I'm doing rotary wing. Are you fresh back from a deployment? I had that issue for the first couple months but I'm so much happier as a civi now that it blunts the irritation of them. Although the unprofessionalism of students and coworkers does still get to me...

I only have one class with civis in it. I'm doing a flight school program that is almost 100% ex mil. Tragically I needed a humanities...

I don't understand why everyone is so squeamish about this. Sorry it offends your delicate sensibilities but this is a fucking apocalypse. I'd butcher your children to keep mine alive if it came to that and maybe all the food would get eaten up pretty quickly. Let's make food less common and add in canabalism.

Also this game gets compared to the movie the road a lot. And gee why was it the bandits in that movie were so healthy looking when everyone else was starving to death?

So nobody here plays fallout? You have the option to eat human flesh in that game. And how about bio shock where you can kill children to gain strength? And that's a line fallout wasn't willing to cross when they were willing to let you kill and eat people for health. And no media backlash for either of those.

I effing hate server hopping. I spend forever scouting a location and checking sniper spots only to find its been looted... Ok get to the next one oh it's been looted too and so on and so forth. And if you have to cheat to play why even play. I've crawled my happy ass stupid distances to hospitals with broken legs to find morphine and there was none. Sure I could of server hopped but instead I crawled from Cherno to elektro because that challenge is what makes the game fun. Although it was gratifying when someone server hopped right in front of me while i was at a high value spot and I got a lot of awesome gear by shooting him in the face.

This just happend about an hour ago... I was wandering the woods badly wounded and starving to death looking for an animal to kill. I had used all my medical supplies and aks ammo escaping zombies at balota. I had no pain killers and my vision was badly blurred and shaking, I couldn't see any animals to eat the until... I see someone with just a coyote pack at my feet trying to hold perfectly still. I consider asking for help or taking...take it. I bring up my makarov and he sprints. I chase but can barely see him and fear I'll lose him in the tree line. I start to feel bad for my attempted murder and decide I'll let him go if he makes it to the tree line, but then once he reaches it he just stops, turns around and looks at me. No will to live. Submission. I do not give mercy for weakness. A gun shot to the head later his beans and painkillers cleared up my vision enough for me to find a pig. I killed an unarmed man and I lived to see another day. I am bandit.

My recently learned lesson... Someone had been trailing me, I could tell by the occasional pistol shot and aggroed Zeds behind me. I figured it was a noob makin the same trip I was from Cherno to balota since he wasn't being sneaky I figured he didn't know I was there. I had an aks 3 mags a revolver with 3 clips and more medical supplies then I knew what to do with. I got to balota and it looks like someone beat me there. I don't find anything but an akm which I leave behind. Second mistake, I should of taken the ammo. Now as I'm starting to head north I hear that guy again clearly in a bind at the airfield. Should I help him or leave him to his fate? I head back to the airfield and call myself out as friendly and offer help. Final mistake, when he doesn't resond I assume he doesn't have a mic and is to busy to type. I go in and help him kill the zombies. Once there done he doesn't thank me. He pulls out the akm I left behind and puts a burst into me. No good deed goes unpunished....

Respawning isn't working for me. Any other suggestions?

For the love of god get me out of debug forest. I tried respawning. Didn't work.

If I send a pic of me with the guns and ammo I actually own can I start with them? I know the answer is no but it would be nice if being prepared for the actual zombie apocalypse helped out in the digital one. Since I doubt enough people are gonna start doing bath salts...
