Here's the original of my last upload. I personally think that DayZ and ArmA 2 Sunsets are too bright, compared to sunsets I've seen in person and which I've taken photo's of. The main thing I tried to frame is/was the graffiti on the house; essential part though was the finish on the gun. As soon as I adjusted the color curves; it was easy to tell buy the wooden varnished finish on the gun that I needed to do no more.

I come bearing the gift of wisdom for you all; If you like playing in First or Third person, then stick to your own first or third person servers and shut your pie-holes. Stop trying to ruin one another experience with logic such as "He made a video killing a person in third/first person, WE HAVE TO STOP THIS BECAUSE HE'S NOT ALLOWED ENJOY HIMSELF!!!!".

I was getting quite tired of the endless "Pro-KoS" threads he kept making (flame threads) and talking all about his personal life in them such as having sex with his woman etc (His profile says he is only 17?), but that has since been resolved since mods & admins began locking those threads. Needless to say, it's useful to have a list of first person servers, the only 'plot-hole' is that the majority of "3PP:OFF" servers are very annoyingly wrong; dozens have Third Person on I find.

I've noticed that with my settings of sceneComplexity=100000;shadowZDistance=90;viewDistance=1800;preferredObjectViewDistance=1800; Loot does not render if I'm at the front of a hanger and loot is at the back, however players render just fine.

Forgive me, but why MUST you insist on creating a new thread every time you have some Pro-KoS opinions to force out there? Give it a rest mate, you're worse than the Anti-KoS people because you know threads exist, but you arrogantly make another thread so your opinion is top of the list.

To briefly explain; we are not straight up "Bandits"; there are a certain amount of zones we classify as Shoot On Sight zones; this is simply for survival due to the high risk of impending death in such towns. So before any of you rage, no we are not all Kill On Sight; we only have that behavior in towns such as Elektro, Balota, North West Airfield etc, otherwise enjoy :P

I've seen some players C-Log when they encounter players, and again when they encounter zombies. What is the point?. One Combat Logger I was watching on a stream (Before I joined his new server and killed him myself) tried to justify it by saying "If he has guns and I do not then it is okay to combat log". Instead he kept saying how unfair it was that I was "stream sniping" him.....

I'm thinking the same. Like I said, my group was ambushed that way a few days ago because we try to run after each person to help them, I had a guy axe another group member previously because we were trying to handcuff him for his and our safety whilst receiving sniper fire; he died by acting out like that. I did KOS in Elektro later however, I've sketched up a map with certain "Red-Zones" (KOS Zones) for survival as there are some towns and bases now which only bring death. Sure, constant KOS is crazy and I don't agree with that; but we all need a bit of KOS in certain towns such as Elektro just to survive because it's either us or them.

I shot an un-armed guy in the back earlier, my first time killing on sight. Why? Because he has the same logic which I've posted a few times; "If I pretend I can't hear him offering me free weapons, food or water; and just run away instead, maybe it'll hurt his feelings and he'll leave me alone." I offered him food, my water canteen and a handgun. I know he could understand English just fine because he was talking in English to one of my group members in Kamyshovo. I saw the guy running toward Elektro so I started asking him, he just started running again and stop in 100 meters, I ran up to him and told him if he keeps running then I will shoot (For my own groups safety as several people have used this to lure us in to traps), he tried punching me and continued running; again stopping. I ran back up, question his reason to do so but he began taking off so I just shot him in to the back of the head and left him die whilst I walked in toward elektro.. Just a question for anybody that does what that guy done, running away whilst getting offered food, water and weapons; what the fuck is it all about? WHY do you do that? Especially if somebody or a group have their weapons aimed at you? Then you all complain about KoS, no-wonder it happens to you.

Rubberbanding is slightly fixed in the latest patch, but where they fixed rubberbanding; they have completely broken the server latency of almost every server. For the past week, every server I have joined does not allow me to take out my guns, it doesn't allow me to open doors, jump, swap gear or do anything of use. It takes a minimum of 10 minutes to register anything. I'm not one to complain, but how exactly are we supposed to Alpha test with this? And yes, yes, "Dude it's alpha", along with "SHUT THE FUCK UP WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU FUCKING TALKING ABOUT ITS ALPHA READ STEAM!!!!!!!"; I know.

Depends what mods. Obviously not mods that will allow people to create their own weapons that could have a superior power etc.

Backpack in a backpack eh? Just get a Hunting Pack and tons of custom-crafted medkits and carrier cases.

What would be nice is to receive a message to say "Server will restart in X amount of minutes". Hasn't happened to me personally, but I've seen dozens of group members lose ammo boxes and other supplies full up because the server will restart almost as soon as they put them on the ground.

I have learned so much in this thread, the most important thing is that the more money you have the faster development will take. Indie game developers are fucked.

Never in the mod or standalone, regardless of how fair or unfair it may have seemed at the time.

Bandana's can be quite hard to find, Hunting backpacks are mostly found in military camps. If you want a bit of backup or an escort to a military camp, give me a shout and my group can help you get geared.

Wurzel, swap to hunting pack and camo bandana for better camouflage ;)

I was in the upstairs of one of the prison buildings getting ready to head down stairs after a successful loot of the entire western map, when I turned toward the door this happened... It didn't stay persistent however, it continuously flickered from normal view to bugged view, thankfully I don't have epilepsy. Once the server restarted when I was on the stairs, it stopped.

Everything seems fine. If you have enough cash I'd recommend going for an SSD as well as the HD. SSD for System, HDD for Storage. You can also put the user profile on the HDD by tweaking the registry so My Documents, Desktop and all that is stored on the HDD, SSD for system files only for best performance. Throw DayZ on it too and it will increase speeds.
