Hopefully he has set some sort of security in place to protect DayZ against certain things, despite being on the Bohemia engine he has been given permission to use it (Obviously as it's released) so he should have some basis of copyright on the game for himself and not just Bohemia.

Oh how I love reading such posts.. Server Admins can NOT see where you are currently located by any admin means therefore they couldn't have known how close you were, they can't know who you are in game because admins have absolutely no special privileges or elevations to see names up close. "You were kicked off the game" can very easily be a network issue, it doesn't say you were kicked off by an administrator nor is there any message of it in the bottom right corner.

Judging from Bohemia's track record of updates with ArmA 2 & 3, I personally think DayZ SA is going to fall to shit once Dean leaves. He can only do as much as he can in that time; but it's safe to say that I will definitely be keeping track of his progress if/when he does leave.

Is the silencer working yet? Been a while since I played. Replacing the Badly Damaged with Pristine will give you the best setup though, or at least it was before they worked on the dispersion rate for the M4. It was the best setup I could find anyway.

One of these is needed again for the many idiots on here... The developers are adding more content so that by time the beta or release come then all content will be in the game and all will be bug free. This allows the developers to add content and repair or work on previous and present bugs, as opposed to working on bugs, adding content, then working on content bugs. IT'S A FASTER PROCESS, VEHICLES ARE NOT IMPORTANT. Even though everything is pretty much a placeholder still; go eat as much as you can, and now push yourself to eat more, see what happens.

Are you the OP? How do you know he tried to ghost you, is it because that's usually what the explanation is if somebody logs in at a building you're inside? Did he even have the exact same clothes and equipment as when you first seen him? If so, how can you be so sure if he logged right away? I doubt a guy with an axe would waste his time ghosting just to attempt to kill one person with a gun.

It depends how long they were there. The only reason you get ported back after the "Lost Connection" message is because the server has only registered and saved your last position to x instead of y due to a timeout; the server actually restarts a few seconds BEFORE you see that message.. y being the most present location, x being several minutes ago.

The 10 minute despawn is TEMPORARY; PENDING PERFORMANCE TWEAKS AND REPAIRS SO THAT THE CLIENT AND SERVER CAN HANDLE IT OTHERWISE YOU WOULD BE BITCHING AND MOANING ABOUT LAG. Server hopping are we? Why don't you play the game properly and you won't be falling 20 feet to your death (which you deserved by the sounds of it) It isn't supposed to be easy to find guns, hence "survival".

So end-result is you need a new wireless card for this unit? Just a note also, that file which you downloaded; if there was an ".inf" extension file then you can simply right click and hit install as it puts the registry entries in then and such. It's only with audio/video codecs that you have to manually install in the event that you're using 64 bit windows with a 64 bit video editor etc but that's a different days work :p I have noticed though that those pesky little SD Card units have caused a LOT of short circuiting with customers machines or else even desktops I've refurbished myself. Best bet is to remove them, cover the gap and just use one of the USB adapters that has the SD sockets.
