For each day of this week, I've had completely different people in a group. If we all get together, we will be about 30 people running through Balota clearing out all of the bandits :P

Is it a troll-like response because you don't like what I said? Sorry, but that doesn't make something "troll-like". If you are trying to be more "open-minded" than anything I posted, you may as well just accept that KoS is a part of this game and will never be gone; I hate to say it, but it's true. I've been alive in game for a week, very rarely see players because I'm always in-land, it does get boring when there are no fire-fights happening, no ambushes going on; it's natural and now I find it more enjoyable than anything else. That said, I refuse to kill fresh spawns, I only do it fairly; I only apprehend, engage or kill players with weapons that will either try to shoot me first and miss, or that has me in sight with their weapon raised. Alas, here comes the closed-minded part from me; this is the hundredth KoS thread, nobody cares anymore; please stop making these. -
I did not know that.. I'll wait until there's any type of brightness enhancers because I find night time servers kind of useless unless I adjust my brightness fully, gamma 3/4 full, shadows off and clouds off; other than that, I can switch off my room light and play with the monitor being the only source of light. OR, I could just purchase my own night vision and sit in front of my monitor whilst wearing them, don't think that would work though... :P

For now I just play in daytime servers until night vision is implemented. But in the day time, black blends in well in buildings with shadows or without, it also blends in quite a bit with the dirt on the floor. I wear a black bandana and it does good by me as it covers the top half of my head which is most noticeable when prone or scouting.

Right now there are way too many guns, I can be fully geared up in clothes and guns in 30 minutes if I am killed.

Agreed, My character wears all black tactical clothing with bulletproof vest, it would be great to see a black Kevlar helmet and a black backpack, such as the large Coyote Backpack from ArmA 2, painted black.

People are using the "Alpha" excuse for everything they dislike. I'll tell it how it is; Sidechat is gone and not coming back, it is better that way because it is now more immersive. The "Kill On Sight" mentality (I first complained about it, now I understand it) is solely based off the fact that the person is paranoid of you killing them and taking their gear, simple resolution; stop posting threads of how to "Fix" it (If it's not broken, don't fix it), instead develop your own mentality. For example, if a player has a gun then I WILL kill on sight, unless of course I can get an advantage over that person such as sneaking behind them, or if they do not have their primary weapon equipped, something that forces them to co-operate and leaves no other choice (What the hell is up with most of you, when I and my group shout in Direct Comms in English and sometimes the German guys shout in German, 80% of players I've seen so far have the mentality of "If I pretend I'm deaf and run away, maybe they won't shoot me for not co-operating") . If the player has fists or a fire axe, I will drop food and water, maybe even a weapon and ammo for that person if they decide to join Team-speak and join my group on our runs to military camps. Those of you complaining about how global chat is gone, and how you can no longer see players names when you aim at them; you are not true fans or even players of this as far as I care, you're just looking for the game to be dumped down because you can't survive long enough, or because you fall for the same mistake all the time of trusting people to come within punching or swinging distance of you, or you run head on to people with guns; hoping they don't shoot. This game is what it is, it's an immersive game developed on an engine that is intended for simulation purposes; constantly giving "Alpha" as an answer is not viable either, being an Alpha has absolutely nothing to do with having no Global or Side chat or even people that Kill On Sight. -
It's kind of an issue with me, because I'm always the guy with medic supplies in my group. If somebody is injured, they come straight to me and I have Vitamins, Antibiotics, Saline Bags, Empty Blood Bags to store their blood in, in case they need blood afterwards etc. I guess I could find dozens of yellow cases, medkits and 300 round ammo boxes then fill them up with stuff, hotlink the items and put them in a hunting backpack. Pretty cool and for 20 backpack slots, you would get 30 Case/Medkit slots.

I recently learned that one of the people in our group was in North West banditing, The rest of my group and me began heading north to kill our bandit group member (We kill Bandits and those who attempt to shoot us, self defence and what not; we help the players without guns). Turns out the guy he had on the roof of the firestation also had a friend nearby who hid at the left part of the firestation by the green door. Me and my group were pinned in the command tower whilst one was killed already, I scouted the stairs and took a few shots at the guy trying to save his buddy from my group members bandit antics and there was no more movement; I moved around his flank and saw no trace. Our bandit buddy was on the top of the firestation, rooftop, he saw no movement; The guy he had cuffed had logged just then too after I shot near his friend (Presumably they realized they were both surrounded by a large group in the command tower, and outside with sniper rifles scouting the airfield) Both combat loggers are skyler.rickert & Skully - xmas n' Stuff Verified with recent players, video footage coming soon as it was quite a good moment ;) Of course it wasn't fair that skyler.rickert was handcuffed and pretty much being used for nothing, to waste his time and what not, our original intentions were to kill our bandit group member and help the guy that he had cuffed by leaving him leave the airfield with all of his gear; we would spare his life if he didn't attempt to shoot us when he left, things didn't go as planned --Update-- Video footage of the light pin-down.

If you're grouped up with people then you can get them to inject you with a Saline Bag; that brings you back from Unconcious.

I won't focus on the Irony in that statement, so instead I'll bring up one point to damage all of the points you originally made. Firstly, you yourself stated (even though it's not true) that this game is only popular because of the DayZ Mod for ArmA 2 (Untrue, this would be popular regardless because it's an open world zombie simulator). Now to the main point, I presume you HAVE indeed played ArmA 2 over your points, so regarding your opinion on "this isn't real life" etc and what not, I'll have you know that this game is developed on Virtual Reality 3 which is an engine intended for real-life simulation purposes;Virtual Reality is an engine that was leased by the US Army/Military to train soldiers how to deal with and prepare in real-life situations in Iraq. ArmA 1, 2, 3, Take On Helicopters and DayZ are all simulators developed on that engine whether you like it or not; If you want "Infestation" then go play "Infestation".

Yeah, you're a child; grow up. (P.S; at least this guy had a bit more skill than your video). Secondly, you missed almost every shot cejita; waiting for somebody to stop running to shoot them isn't an "insane shot", it's not even luck. Try harder.

I complained about it once or twice, the I realized that the best resolution is for me to shoot any player on sight that has a firearm in their hand, if their back is to me then I will use direct comms and tell them to drop their weapon etc, but 99% of the time they try to turn around and shoot me; resulting in their death. Point is, KoS if the person has a gun in their hand, give food and water if the person has only an axe or fists.

Can you remember if you suffered from any ingame stutter? I have noticed that when I'm running in certain servers with a group, I'll get stutter; then the guy behind me will appear in front of me because I had stutter for a second and he did not.

You people think too far in to this, regardless of your age; you should not even be playing this game if this is what the subject matter will be like. Unfortunately, I am now with the thread creator; I am now a shoot-on-sight guy and generally try to avoid contact when possible. I travel in a group of 10+ and despite us being 9 times larger than the average "bandit", he still tries to shoot or kill one of us just because he has a gun in his hand or a gas mask on his face. At the beginning of the game release, just like the beginning of the mod release and for a short time after; I noticed a lot of friendlies, but that's no more. It's not about getting more loot (Bodies disappear anyway, but regardless), it's not about "killing for fun", it's just about playing the game and not having idiots try to ruin what entertainment you are having. Until there is a resolution, maybe even a handful of servers thrown up where PvP can be somewhat disabled (If you don't like it, I don't care; simple resolvement: Don't play there) then myself and many others will have to become what most people hate, a KoS Player.

Really? Camping? I'm sure you would get on fantastically in the actual military, you know; seeing how this game is developed on an engine that is meant for simulation purposes and that was leased out by the Military.

NEW DayZ Fallujah Map Released!

This is a load of bulls**t. It was me who had the original concept for DayZ on Fallujah which I had begun working on over a month ago. Instead Vilayer releases this extremely broken code with absolutely no mention or credits for my original concept & work. & of course not to mention the Anti-Cheat which he states is his, however it is not his code at all.
