Well I bought ARMA2 to play dayz, looks like i'll have to do that again if it's the same engine. Bohemia should give Dean etc access to the newest engine. If they don't, they can f-off.

Standalone will NOT be using the new ARMA engine? Is that right?

I agree 100% with the OP. I did not get involved with the mod just to be entering into a pvp deathmatch for 12yr olds, that's all this game is right now.

It's utterly cowardly to snipe people, full stop. These thermal guns and such, ridiculous in this game world. Let us all run around with rifle's and pistols and have a proper, fair fight if that's what the pk's want to do all day. I detest being sniped by some coward on a hill 600m out.
