I cannot agree with this more, Hackers are rampant, infact i encountered one a few hours ago. If standalone comes, make it come with FULL Battleye support, not that BS that is being put into place right now.

Its roughly the same drop. I found one before in the middle of nowhere with a full zombified crew.

Sadly people would use Alt + F4 as a easy alternative. This problem cannot be solved simply.

It sickens me that admins use this to get their helicopters and vehicles back on purpose.

Its a alpha, what the hell do you expect? The bugs will be ironed out in standalone.

This game works on paranoia, and the idea that you will lose everything you possess, its a very smart ingame mechanic to build a intense atmosphere between players. However, its not really that fun for person who doesn't have the initiative to shoot. If your soft in DayZ, you will end up getting killed by other Paranoid players and groups who will kill you if you so much as point your gun their way. The challenging part is to not be so paranoid as to shoot everyone on sight and look like a complete dick.

Zombies are only deadly, when your a blundering idiot screaming through cherno. Naked.

I too encountered this hacker, roughly about 30 to 10 minutes before and he proceeded to followed me from inside chernogorsk and stalked me all the way from one side of cherno to the fire station. I was proning down on a long grassy path towards the fire station, making progress until suddenly i heard a helicopter, he swung in to face me as though he instantly knew where i was. I assumed this was by luck. When he swung by i noticed that this hacker was named Vital as well and i started to run as soon as he was drawing zombies to his position. I bolted and attempted to hide, and was trying to find me near a apartment house. When i heard him go again, i bolted and started moving back towards the road, hearing the helicopter land somewhere nearby, i had gotten into a small building shelter and waited it out. I heard him restart his helicopter and he began moving. After a few minutes the helicopter sounds were deafening and i turned in my thirdperson mode to suddenly see a helicopter floating nearby the hut, literally behind it. He didn't get out at all and i assume he wanted me to get in, i assumed he was a hacker by this point and i instantly started firing upon him. I don't negotiate with either bandits or hackers. He lifted off and i ran straight down the road to the fire station as he landed on a far away building, i ran all the way to the fire station and got shot right through a wall. I do have evidence to not only back up OPs claim but also a entire account of my encounter with this hacker. Im rendering the video as we speak and i will be posting a video link very very soon, as i was recording this on my Debut DayZ Walkthrough. The Total rendering process is going to take at least 1-2 hours and i'll have enough time to provide a link while im at college. I go much more indepth compared to this post, in the video.
