My proposal for a simple solution against all those cowards that are disconnecting when getting shot: .)If you are bleeding when you disconnect, your character will stay and fall unconscious. Set a warning message like "WARNING! You are bleeding! If you abort now your character will fall unconscious and stay for 30 seconds in game." .) If you are alt+F4'ing, or just "losing connection", then your char will also fall unconscious. This simulates a person falling unconscious out of shock (after all, disconnecters act out of panic/shock, so this fits) On the other hand: .) If you are just aborting without bleeding, then it is like now: everything is ok, you will be out of the game immediatly, no problem. Sure this will still have people aborting when they see someone else, but at least it gets rid of a MAJORITY of dc'ers, by eliminating those that are dcing when shot or quick alt+f4ing. What do you think about this?

I only get 9999 pings for all servers in SL, only a few (3-5) have actual pings shown. what to do?

since the newest patchez whenever i try connecting to a server, i getz a black screen saying "loading" with a green bar, and nothing else happens. I hear sounds like *what-do-you-call-those-bugs-that-are-like-srrrrr-srrrrr-srrrrr?* and sometimes footsteps for a short time, but that's it then. ctrl+alt+del and nutting else. fun fun fun! i haz tried: -updating -reinstalling battleye thru steam -newly installed six updater -kill process an re-connexing tausend times I can haz helpz?

Well, somehow I can't take any loot that is in toilets. there is just open/close door for me, even scrolling the menu dosnt bring it up. I have this since ever, anybody sgot the same thing?

That's my suggestion for all those whining about no gun at spawn. Have sticks (low low damage meele weapon) spawn at the beach (near bushes and such). how about that?

I thought to start a text trailer thread. A text trailer is something that I herebynow invent, be witnessers: Kind of a trailer for DayZ, but in textform, which gets copypasted below youtube videos about DayZ and such. . This game is a huge success RIGHT NOW. Does anyone of you understand what this means? This means it is good as it is, and even if rocket would stop developing it any further in this second, it would still stay alive and kicking, with a huge active community and be still the best game around. That alone is fascinating. On the other hand this also means: developing it further into any kind of "direction" only means developing it away from where it is right now. It may still be fantastic, but different. Somehow I don't want to lose it. I want it to stay like it is right now. Like a little cute puppy which you wish would forever stay that cute little puppy, and not grow to a 100 pounds big dog, which is also your best friend but a bit annoying sometimes, like when you have to take him out for a walk in the middle of the night.... that's what i mean with "becoming different"...
