  1. Sorry to bump my own post, but giving this one last attempt. :) Appreciate any advice out there. Thank you!
  2. Hi all. I'm having issues getting people to be able to connect to my private, self-hosted, unmodded, DayZ server. We all just bought the game, and are on the latest version. I've followed the steps here to set up my server: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2390568079 I've ensured the firewall ports are open on the Windows box that is hosting the server. The server is visible in the Community list, but for some reason, no one can connect. I've Googled the error, and found so many others posting about this error, but no solution that seems to be the one that addresses it. We have all tried other Community servers, and get the same connection error for about 50% of the servers we try and play on, so I don't think it's something specific to my instance, but I'm at a loss here. I can connect to the server when I attempt to join via LAN, but not when I connect to my public IP, which really sounds like a port forwarding issue. I'm including a screenshot of my rules in case maybe something is wrong there. That is here: https://ibb.co/8cp5SqC I've hosted severs for many other games, and I consider myself pretty experienced with setting these things up, so it's frustrating to not be able to figure this one out! I'm happy to provide more information that I've left off this post if that helps. Really really appreciate anyone's time who would be willing to help me get to the bottom of this one. Thank you so much in advance.
