    Game QOL

"DayZ was indeed the first game we built with parts of the Enfusion engine - specifically with earlier versions of the Enfusion renderer (the software that draws all the graphics), as well as the Enfusion animation system and the Enforce scripting language. At the time of DayZ's launch out of Early Access, however, many things were still missing to make the engine package complete, particularly some of the tools necessary for building game worlds and creating game assets. That’s why DayZ remained a hybrid of old and new technology." This is after .61 with the new renderer coming in at .62 and coming out of alpha at .63 to 1.0 this about 6-7 years ago. This is the primary reason why the game is in the state that its in. Using an unfinished spaghetti code game engine thats a mixture of RV, RV4(Arma 3), and a very basebones buggy Enfusion render. Bohemia abandoned it before .62 100% and threw it RV4 to "save it" with mods, as this is the only reason why this game even has mod support, it literally copy and pasted Arma 3s code. Every dev on the forums has not been active since this transition, as they've been moved to reforger. BI at this point is just milking the cash cow with garbage DLCs. They took the ability for my post to be seen and now they only post as hidden and had to make a new account, absolutely impressive guys, jeez.
