I'm curious if I can change town/city names from Russian to the names on the in game map. If not, would it be possible to replace said sign textures or would this be frowned apon. I find it difficult to find my loctaion based on the in game map. I don't really want to have my netbook open while I play. So I can have the DayZ wiki map showing me the tranlations of towns/citys I've just passed through.

Ander doesn't tents just make a joke of permadeath. If a player can just get back to their old tent and resupply?

Not sure but on STEAM BAF and PMC are £7.99 each. CO is £24.99 on STEAM. So I guess the BIS store price is not being matched on STEAM. :(

When I run Six Launcher. The server lists show me servers running which version of DayZ and which Beta patch there checking for. If your checking for servers by some other method. Then no idea if the same things would show up.

I found a PDW in a dear stand but then got swarmed by infected out of nowhere.

If I try launch a game through Six Launcher for any 94209 server. I get kicked for wrong beta version. Six launcher is changing my 94209 beta version to 94103 version. I've reinstalled the 94209 version but going through Six Launcher changes it back to 94103.

PVP and no-consensual PVP. Guess you can argue that by playing DayZ mod. You have consented to PVP, as it's part of the mods game mechanics. Though judging by the posts on these boards. If your someone who just kills for the LOLs sees anyone who suggests it should have penalties attached to it. Then the person making the suggestion is a carebear.

I'm curious how a Free-To-Play model would work with Dayz. What sort of micro transactions would be possible. You lose everthing on death. So any bought items would vanish. Unless you was talking character cosmetics, like clothes etc.. I'm all for Buy game once then pay monthly subcriptions. Seeing as you have one central database to maintain. Studio driven to combat hacking.

Curious but isn't the exploding vehicles an Arma 2 engine issue. So might not be fixable with a mod.

Just hope these New bear traps have been tested to see they don't dupe.
