So I put the file into my DayZ folder?

I'm not really sure how to install it. Could you explain? Also how do you uninstall battleye.

Yeah I just started getting this too after being able to play just fine in the past.

With it being confirmed as coming out as a stand-alone game, I wonder if it would be Mac Compatible. I would definitely love to have it to be compatible, I mean it would boost the sales by a bit of by not a lot. I know for a far that most macs would be able to run it on Normal settings, but It's such a hassle going into Windows just to play it. (Guys I know you can use bootcamp, I'm just asking for what you guys think on a MAC compatible DayZ.)

On numerous occasions when going down the stairs of the Elecktro firehouse (the one near the church) I glitch out the room, this has caused my death several times.

So on my Six Launcher after the latest update, it is running 1.7.2.4, but when I try to join a server that says 1.7.2.5 It's outdated?

I run DayZ on bootcamp just fine on Normal settings.....

You are wrong. From first hand experience Arma II will run fine

You will be able to run the game in normal settings without ANY lag. And you don't "have" to run Win 8 CP, I was just stated it's free, but there will be no sound on it as Apple hasn't made drivers to support Win.8 yet. Without a doubt your IMAC will run fine with DayZ

I have done this myself. Bootcamp windows. (Windows 8 CP is free, but be warned, there is no sound.) And install. Done.

Anyone know any IPs to some good Sanctuary Servers where you start out with a weapon? (Preferably a Makarov)

Umm....There are several DayZ Sanctuary servers out there that spawn you with a weapon. As long as it's not connected to the hive it's fine.

It seems like every new patch fixes a problem from the previous patch and then that new patch introduces another problem. Edit: Wow, didn't think people would be so hostile towards the thread....please don't assume it's an insult, and I know it's in Alpha, you don't have to repeat the last poster again and again.

So if you dc in shock you come back with 5 minutes of unconsciousness....wtf? 5 minutes? Are you shitting me? Worst of all you can't even hit esc and respawn if you wanted to kill yourself, you have to fucking sit there and stare at that god damn hour glass for 5 minutes of your life if you wanna play again unless some fucking scrub does you the favor of putting you out of your misery. -Sometimes it happens even if you don't even have shock! -If you get killed and make another life it affects you as soon as you make another character! -5 MINUTES IS TOO GOD DAMN LONG, Even if I were DCing, I probably am gonna not go back into the server for a bit so I would't die, and when I would come back in YOU'RE LAYING DOWN, which practically means most of the time zombies or other players won't even notice you. What a fucking stupid feature, atleast reduce the timer.

Will we be able to get it for free? I mean I already payed $30 to play it, I don't want to have to pay an additional $15 when somebody else can save $30.
