need to TTFU as the aussies say last night got bored decided to run across the map (literally) just for a change of scenery, guess what took longer then 30 minutes .. why becasue i dont like getting shot so i pay attention to stuff, this forces me to slow down and stop to check things if your bitching that it takes 30 minutes to run to nwaf then you get shot the problem isnt the game needs an autorun button

if your gonan do this kind of thing theres only 1 place on map the can originate from 'green mountain'

few days ago i was runnign my usual helicopter run, adn get to the edge of a field id run across a bunch of times (next to the petrol station at west of gorka, scan the trees and fields cant see anything but suddenly get very edgy and scared, so im sat there in some trees constantly scanning, no Z's at petrol station none at polana but im just freaking out and wont move out of the tree line(sat there for just over 30 minutes), then i realsie the petrol stations got some troll roll (barbwire) placed right through the front door that wasnt there yesterday(same server) couldnt shake the feeling of paranoia after that so worked my way to over looking 'factory' to check for any peeps then logged, just needed a break couldnt function well my paranoia (nearly snap fired at a goat that walked over the crest of a hill)

yeah the feeling of saftey in numbers, makes you sloppy sometimes, you tend to fire a lot more ... those are the kinds of people i like to find wondering around the wilds

yes i can see why the alt+f4 was needed rather then just logging out normally -_- was on a 2 person server last night heard an almighty bang, it wasnt a rifle and im way way up north on the coast, press p, only other player is called 'mishacks' -_- get a message in vehicle channel "hey what ya doin?" 0_o "running around huntign camps, and wondering what that huge bang was, know anything about it?" - me "maybe" - him "later dude" - me ..logs off not zomg panic must alt+f4!!!!! just the usual log off change server and resume my running around in the woods for another 4 hours last time i alt+f4'ed ... never times ive been killed in firefights- lots times ive been killed by hackers - several there is NEVER a reason to alt+f4 over normal logging, and as you say he was killing people not just nuking the server at once so the 5 second delay to log out(if/when added) probably wouldnt have made any change anyway

yes please add a function to help people run at a fixed speed in a fixed heading so they remove hands from keyboards and take extra time reaching for z or alt+f4 ..... <3 snipers

installed latest beta .... 95% of servers now wont let me join, cant older beat over the top like you could (now 1.6.2 not 1.6.1.x) that was the fun i had last night :P lthough i noticed the artifacting and sparkly bushes i used to get sometime using nvg's+rifle scope has gone .... waits for more servers t patch up

took weapon from backpack, waited to reload, no one noticed big gun suddenly in my hands or the relaod sound, no one shoot me during this 2-3 seconds, and no one shot me while i was firing at least 4 shots ... youd have been dead before the reload sound finished on anyone but a complete imbecile

no its an actual backpack eating bug thats come sometime since 1.7 the bizon i lost id had for ages and all was fine until patching upto 1.7.2.3 (i missed the 1.7.2.1/2 as i was taking a break)

and whats a soldier before he learns to fire one? an untrained civillian, you think someone with a bit of rifle hunting experience and a bit of time/box of ammo cant figure out how to use one? spot people at 600 meters realise they are heading away and have crap weapons and dont know im here, spot someone at 30 meters heading to the supermarket im in and they ahvea gun ..... which you do think is really likley to panic someone into firing on sight? ill give you a clue ... the clue is : your wrong

yes a fair fight, lets meet up in an open field stand back to back then you get 20 seconds before we turn and shoot, obviously only if we have the same weapions though right?what next, its wrong to shoot female skined players? grow some balls, your saying im a coward becasue ill sit there and enguage 3-4 heavily armed people and wont Alt+f4 if it goes sideways? ... yeah ok, would your concept of a fair fight mean they form an orderly que to fight me while i fire back? not everyone with a sniper rifle and a willingness to use it, goes near the scum hole of electro/churno ... last time i was there was weeks ago, fresh spawner and spent 4 hours on new spawns just chasing other new spawners around say 'no no no no' repeatedly and waving my torch in thier face then laughing how they ran (with me following) until they get a weapon and start chasing me (with me still saying 'no no no' repeatedly over voip)

and when you have your fine and fancy firearm, dont use it learning to creep about between Z's without aggroing them ( i crouch run/walk into and through towns fine) is important to you surviving, not having to shoot means you wont agro more zombies resulting in more shooting, shooting results in broadcasting to everyone in the local area theres someone with a shiny gun that might be nice to own V's Z's its somthing there to protect you when you screw up, not a bulldozer to clear a path.

and when you go into a fire fight do you throw a few smoke grenades around to alert them to your presence or just get behind them and shoot them in the back? eveer shot a guy who only had an axe? is that cowardly too because you can drop him before he reaches you even with a makarov?you call it cowardly i call it efficent + effective and i dont see many people with crap gear runnign around where i am (currently logged out on the northern edge of the map literally), and the furthest south ive been latley has been greeen mountain helicopter hunting i get shot at by other snipers i have firefights intown (sometimes ppl just suprise you) last one we were having a silenced firefight at the back of the market in Krasnostav, he got the drop on me (kinda) tried somthng fancy that only 1/2 worked and gave me chance to gain the better positioning, i put 3 or 4 shots into him he clipped me with a ouple before i ducked behind a tree then after bandaging and drinking coke (wtf) he broke his leg crawling around behind a wall, i lol'ed and skipped off into the tree line first point i always raise on the 'lololol look me, i r snipe' videos ppl post here, 1 guy sorry dude dont remember your name when a couple of us pointed out he was nametag ranging like a boss he said he didnt know how to range, we told him ....he actually went away and did it on a vet server and thought it was awesome please dont tar all of us with the same brush, some of us play like dedicated marksmen (a military sniper) some of us play like designated squad support marksmen (in the the assault group to provide mid range accurate fire, and some of us play like nubs .. i mean snipers (any one firing pretty much anything rifle like from a semi concealed positin (mr lololol i snipe nubs froma roof and r suprise ppl shoot me becasue changing position is for liek ppl not awesome snipa leik meah!)

the ability to take down potential threats from distance with not much chance of return fire, if your doing it right you have a reasonable good idea if they have buddies with them(you cant be 100% certain) but thats why you carry a backup assault rifle for close in work as well my usual enguagments are around 250-600 meters so an assault rifle just doesnt cut it, also i can go nice places like starry hide in bushes wait till someone else starts sniping then counter snipe, not to save mr x in the tents but becasue they have the same taste as me so theres a high probability they have stuff i want, at the moment im just running with a DMR (prefer m24) but DMR is night vision goggleable, and im spending more and more time flitting about like naughty bad man in the night raiding tents camps and taking advantage of my lucky find (nvg's)

everything you needs knife/matches/compass/map(none essential)/canteens drop in domestic/supermarkets walk into almost any barn youll find an axe, lots of industrial have knives usually its matches and maps that take me time to find but i can get along well enough till i find them usually
