I think the current system with blood, where you can only regenerate it yourself with food, and not give any bloodpacks, is to unforgiving. This is a zombie survival game, there is a risk of doing things, the reward there is for this risk is the reason if you're gonna do it or not. For example looting in a city, brings big risk, but it yields a large reward. This is how its supposed to be. But then we get to the point where players attack players. The risk is high, since propably you both carry guns, and you are both able to kill eachother. The rewards might (!) be high to. The problem I recently experienced was that when you manage to kill someone (either a person you want to kill or a person who attacked you). You still get a large penalty, in the form of losing a lot of blood. When the fight is on even foot, the reward is never higher then the penalty. Because: lots of food are still hard to find to regain blood. Looting while passing out all the time is very, very hard. And not being able to give yourself blood using a blood pack. So I propose this: When your blood is above 10k, it automaticly regenerates at 3 blood per second, this will be 1000/3=333 seconds to gain 1k of blood. so thats about 5 and a half minute to gain 1k blood, and 11 minutes to get to full blood again. This seems pretty balanced to me. Raise the amount of blood canned food gives to you to 400 (from 200). Make blood bags usable on yourself, and to make sure the co-op part of the game is untouched, I propose this: When using a bloodpack on yourself, you only get back 3k blood, while using it on a other person still gives the full 100% back. This will still encourage coop, but doesnt make the game impossible for solo players. /discuss

The problem isn't even that console will ruin the game. ITS JUST THAT WITH THE RESOURCES THE DAYZ TEAM CURRENTLY HAS ITS LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THIS GAME TO A CONSOLE. Think before you post something!

No offense meant, but how can normal thinking people make suggestions like this? Dont you know anything about computers or technology? You cant just simply copy the game to work with PS vita. This suggestion and all those others makes zero sence. I always wonder if these suggestion are trolling or just plain retarded...think before you post something.

At first, you'd say no. But if you actually think about it...removing storage will mean that you have to keep on looting, you have to go to lootable areas again and again and have the danger of players again. It'd most certainly be a game improving change. +1

Maybe its bullet proof glass? Hard to break with a gun, but a few hits with a axe does the trick. And maybe the tin cans were filled with lead? :D

In european countries, no, there arent a awesome lot of weapons there. But remember, chernarus is a ex soviet country, its pretty much the same as america there, guns everywhere.

Indeed, they pay for it, by hiring that server they agree to the rules server owners have to follow. The admin doesnt seem to have any problems with paying to make other people play for free. You obviously miss the point, go elsewhere. You abuse your server by farming gear etc, this gives you a noticable advantage over legit players, aka as cheating. You decide to pay for the server, you bear the responsibility for your server, and you bear the consequences when you do something wrong with your server. Yes you are, did you really go this low? Just lying? You are some pathetic kid. Cant beat the game legit, to dumb to make or find a hack, so you buy a server to still avoid the game. Just pathetic. And how long does it take this damned DayZ staff to disconnect a server from the hive? -
I dont think the DayZ team has a lot of level designers...

I have never seen a sniper rifle in real life. This still doesnt change the fact that there are snipers out there, so removing them wouldn't be realistic at all...

Thats the whole purpose, to discourage you from using your gun but rather sneaking. I think the zombies spawning isn't the problem.

Very easy, lockboxes can be found in residential areas. At the moment you pick one up you get 1 lockbox and 1 key. You can place the lockbox anywhere and can contain 2 weapons, 20 items and 5 backpacks. The lockbox can be opened with a key, with a few shots of any heavy weapon (this ofcourse has a % succeed chance). Or can be tried to break open with a toolbox, 1 try, 20% chance. When you have a entrencing tool you can rightclick the lockbox and bury it, completely hiding it. When in a radius of about 2 meters where the lockbox is burried, you can right click the entrenching tool and dig up the box. This is just to hide and store stuff besides tents, and at the moment you forget where you hid them, its hard to find 'm back.

The main thing here is not the locking of a box, but the hiding of it. To keep it realistic, a box is easily broken open with a hammer or a screwdriver, so hiding it would be the real safe way to store stuff. For key combinations, 1 key is bound to all the lockboxes you placed, when you place 3 lockboxes, you have 1 key for the 3 of those. If thats what you mean. I just figured a major flaw tough, when the box is placed, it would be hard to pick it up with all the items to bury it afterwards. So I can come up with 2 solutions. 1. You place the lockbox, fill it with items, dont move it afterwards, and just right click the shovel and bury it. Ofcourse it needs to be dug up to get items out of it. 2. You bury the box, after which you get a screen to fill the box (in the inventory menu). To get this screen again you would have to dig up and bury your box again.

Pfff, firts building i went in (elektro firestation) i found coyote pack, AK cobra with 3 clips, and a m19 with clips. Next building I go in I find a ghuillie suite, matches, a map, a knife, a compass, a watch, etc etc. You're just looking in the wrong places. -
