Thanks in advance to anyone with knowledge on this subject, willing to share ❤️
I did try doing a search for this but didn't find anything.
I'm running three instances of dayz server, simultaneously, on a local machine. (8 core, Win11, 32GB DDR5, NMVe drive)
All three have different folders, with renamed executable's and are set to different ports, with the relevant forwarding and firewall rules.
They all run fine, all show up on Battlemetrics, all show up in the DZSA launcher and the default dayz launcher, and I can connect to all without issue (from the same network)
I have noticed that I'm only getting players connecting to one of the servers, and not the other two.
The only difference I can see on the server start up logs are the below lines from the server that players are joining, which do not show up on the other two servers:
"20:15:20 Player connect enabled"
"20:15:20 Mission read."
"20:15:20 Connected to Steam"
"20:15:20 Steam policy response"
Why does only one server have this in the console, and is this stopping players joining the other two servers?
If so, what is missing from the other servers that enables player connect, steam connection etc..
Once again, thanks in advance for any help or wisdom.
Fed
*** EDIT - In case anyone else needs this info - I have successfully connected to all three servers from an external IP, so I guess the four missing lines do not have any affect on whether players can connect or not ***
