1. Download the full version from http://dayzlingor.tk (direct link: http://dayzlingor.tk/files/dayz_lingor/DayZ_Lingor_1725_034.torrent) 2. Unzip (via WinRAR) into your Arma II directory. (now alongside your @DayZ folder you will have an @Lingor and @DayZ_Lingor folder or something with very similar names) 3. Create a duplicate of your DayZ shortcut and name it DayZ - Lingor or whatever you want. Add the @DayZ_Lingor and @Lingor flags on the shorcut and that's it. No more messing with enabling/disabling add-ons in game or using the silly Six updater. How would you all have figured it out in the beginning without these external apps to baby you along? :P Good luck!

I was getting the graphical glitches at first after updating (posted this earlier). Now on 1.7.2.4 and 1.7.2.5 I'm getting them very rarely after simply changing the Video Memory to Default in the Video Settings. They are not anything like they were and I can go into military areas again. If they do pop up using Shift - (num pad) and typing flush seems to cure it when they do come back for me. Hopefully this might help some others out there with the issue.

I play on Very High settings. Setup is: i 2500k 460 GTX SSD 8GB RAM ***So after spawning back in with the VIdeo Memory in Video Settings set on Default they are completely gone. I had it set on Very High originally. Seems to be fixed with it on Default.***

Is it giving you any message when you get kicked? I'm just going to ask you some questions for clarification. Steam or Non-Steam version? Do you manually install Beta/DayZ updates or do you use Six Launcher? Are you trying on the same server or multiple ones? When you first have Arma II open (on the main screen) does it say 1.62.95248 on the lower right corner? And you did put the new Battleye DLL in the Expansion\Battleye folder correct? Once again just trying to go through some things to rule out possible issues. This is what an IT professional tends to do so sorry if I'm being repetitive. I was having trouble yesterday getting in and it would sometimes take 5-10 minutes on the Loading screen. It could be with the influx of new players (from the Steam sale) that the hive and servers are bogged down. It was really laggy in several servers I was on yesterday and taking longer than normal to spawn in.

Before 1.7.2.3 I had a camo outfit that I had been wearing for days but when I first logged in after 1.7.2.3 it was gone. I have found one in 1.7.2.3. The one I found was in the Pub in southwest Berezino on the second floor. At some point I joined a game and it was gone. Yesterday I got one off of a dead guy and since then I have just been wearing it and then removing it before I log out and it seems to be working well. Ever since I found an SVD Camo the other night I'm loving this combination.

Yeah after playing yesterday in the Ghillie it didn't save my game. My Ghillie, FN FAL w/ NV, and 1911 are all gone :( Sorry for posting bad info.

I had a Ghillie suit in my pack and spawned in today for my first time on 1.7.2.3 and it looked like the Ghillie and saving works as it should now.

So you push F to cycle through usable items in your inventory(it shows what you are using on the top right). Throw a flare or chemlight and then run over to it and look at it. Roll your mouse wheel and you will have a pick up option where you can pick it up and run with it. You can also extenguish it or drop it once you pick it up. Rolling with the mouse wheel will basically give you your choices on any item of what you can do with it. Good luck. Go to www.dayzwiki.com and read the survivor's guide. It will help you out a lot. The amount of info out there has come a long way of the first days I was playing on the mod in early May when there was nothing.

From my experience: 1. If you put on Camo/Ghillie right now you will lose your primary/secondary weapon and inventory 2. If you are wearing Camo/Ghillie it's gone for now(sad because I had had Camo for quite awhile and really liked the look) 3. If you are worried about spawning in and losing items do this: Spawn in on 1.7.1.5 and you will have items and be in Civies. Update then Spawn into 1.7.2 and you should be fine.

A lot of you must be new players. The overloaded server/stuck at creating character/stuck at loading thing almost always happens when a new major patch rolls out and everyone is trying to get on at once. Welcome to DayZ!

Something is very wrong with your card if it is running that hot. It sounds like either the fan on the card isn't working at all or maybe the heatsink isn't making contact with the chip. I have a 460 GTX that runs around mid 30s idle and rarely gets over 60 and my house is warm(usually mid to upper 70s F). I have a passive Nvidia card in my HTPC that barely hits 70 when under load. Open the case with your computer on and see if the fan on the GPU is running. Touch the heatsink and see if it feels hot to the touch(ground your self first). This will let you know if it is really that hot or if it's an incorrect temperature reading. Like other guys have suggested HWMonitor or MSI Afterburner are both great programs to use. With MSI Afterburner check the temp and manually turn up the fan and see if A) the fan speeds up and B) does the temp drop. How hot is it in your house? What temperature is your CPU and Mobo showing?

I'll second the guy that said Berezino. There are two sets of apartments, a 3 floor office building, and two supermarkets in a small area. It is the best kept secret and is not often populated by survivors or bandits. Between the markets and apartments there will be a Czech or Alice unless it has already been looted. The other day I saw 2 Czechs and an Alice in the same supermarket. I wish the Czech vest pouch would be changed to where you can wear it along with a backpack, that would rock(otherwise does it serve a purpose?). Also I don't know if I have ever seen an Assault pack. Do they still exist? The next favorite spot of mine is the apartments in Cherno(which almost always have packs too) but they are way more dangerous. Good luck!
