    warning 0x000400C2 license expired

    i have recently decided to return to DayZ after not playing for quite a while, when i returned i launched the game which worked just fine, then once i attempted to join a server it provided me with a error, "warning 0x000400C2 steam authentication failed license has expired" i briefly searched online and failed to find many people with my same issue. i legally purchased the game through steam and have the receipt on my account, if my license was revoked i failed to see the reason why, i haven't played the game for a long period of time and never cheated or behaved negatively. as such i believe this is some other issue but do not understand what is happing. i have already verified the integrity of files via steam, tried to join a variety of servers to see if that was the problem as well as deleting DayZ related files in my PC's documents folder i have been met with zero progress. i just want to get back into a game i enjoy, i would appreciate any help, Thank you. i have also now attempting reinstalling the game.
