I really dont see why you have a problem with the third person. Yes it might make ambushes and such easier for the attacker, but there is a really easy fix for this. Dont play on servers with 3dP on.. I only play on servers without 3dP to avoid this. Each to his own..

The only way to know is to see in the server name if the timezone the server runs on is listed, but not all servers have this and some servers have the wrong timezone listed..

This video has nothing to do with killing unarmed fresh spawns, since it's happening in stary sobor. So i dont see why you would bring that up. Also, the stuff he has is rare, but not a problem to get without "loot hopping".

The "crowbar hack" is not a hack if you are worried about that.. I think it only tells you that you have a crowbar equipped and that the "fire-mode" is called hack. :) You can try to equip your flashlight as secondary(rightclick your flashlight in your toolbelt and click on remove from toolbelt). Then i think you should be able to drop the crowbar. If that doesnt work you can try switching to your flashlight and then dropping your crowbar.

You can also use NVG's with the m16 with acog scope and you should be able to use them with binoculars(considering realism it shouldnt work, but it works when i use Bino's).. @Dallas IRL, you can use different types of optics/sigth's with NVG's as long as the optics have a NVG mode so the light in the optics dont get too bright.

I think you are right. This happened to me as well when i was looking for a server that was on night time to use my newly aquired NVG's. Spawned in the air in the woods west of Myshkino, when my original position was the woods north-east of Polana, but i survived the landing somehow. :)
