    Playing dead

After being knocked unconscious, you should have the option to not get up and hence alert the enemy that you are still alive. When playing dead, you will keep your eyes nearly closed (resulting in a limited field of view) but be able to hear. This mechanic could be accessed by holding down left ctrl (or the walk modifier key) during the unconscious time to prevent getting up.

Simple tweak to fix combination locks!

Using the scroll wheel to spin the lock dials is genius but I have no idea if the engine allows that.
  3. We should be able to roll large and heavy cylindrical objects, as these are coincidentally the ones players encounter most frequently. Rolling logs would be extremely useful for building when trees are far away. Gravity should make logs roll fast downhill, requiring a bit of planning ahead. When logs reach higher speeds, the player will have less control over it, requiring some planning ahead. This will be convenient when building, as carrying logs is slow and makes the survivor vulnerable. Barrels and wheels should be rollable as otherwise the only option is to have one spawn close to where they are required (as wheels cannot be carried in backpacks anymore and barrels are somewhat rare). Rolling objects should be affected by gravity, and accelerate when rolling downhill. As objects roll faster, they are harder to control and steer, and the player may eventually lose control of the rolling object. If such an object is going fast enough, it should cause serious damage to anything it hits (or even itself, should it collide with a hard obstacle). This would make for some funny ambushes or fails. A rolling log that hits a survivor's legs might cause them to fracture. The log should not kill the player rolling it (wink wink... car physics), as long as that player is behind the log with respect to the direction of travel.

Eating fruits should boost immunity slightly.

They don't spawn on official servers.
  5. As a result of the much harsher cold/flu/pneumonia in 1.26, it can be quite difficult to get out of the spawn town once your character catches a cold, as medical items are very rare and have been looted by other players. A solution could be to make eating fruits contribute to a character statistic that increases immunity temporarily. This is how it may be implemented: The bonus immunity statistic is added to the result from the current immunity calculation to give the new final value. Consuming fruits and possibly some other items can cause the bonus immunity statistic to increase slowly over the course of digestion (perhaps around 2.5/fruit) Simultaneously, the bonus immunity statistic decreases with a half-life of 5 minutes (decaying faster when it is higher) to prevent the statistic from going too high or for the effect to go for too long. Multivitamins could also be re-implemented to use this statistic too, and would be more effective against colds than something like salmonella (which currently only needs one multivitamin to cure).
