OUCH. well that happens, there are all types. personally i think that if they are gona do stuff like that then don't bother getting unbanned. just play somewhere else. if you were playing monopoly and the bank decided it should have free hotels would you still want to play with that person? -

yes i know. im not asking for something to be handed to me on a silver platter for inability to figure it out myself (although i did start another thread asking for directions). the reason im asking for a guide to be made and put on the forum is so that new players or returning players will have that resource available to them. It would cut down on lost people wandering about the forum looking for instructions. and I did google a bit "mate". -

i use six, have not downloaded dayz commander yet. although i only really use the launcher for normal dayz so i would like some help with how to use six to join these custom maps. could you direct me to where i can find this information? you said "Instructions for that are usually found where you download the map." but where would that be?

How do you scope you're head around whilst running?

you can use freelook with mouse or keys. there is also a rich boy toy called track IR that uses head motions to pan the camera independent of mouse movement so you can turn and look. WANT ONE SO BAAAAD but can't justify it. maybe if standalone and ARMA 3 turn out to be as cool as i think they will i can convince myself that a $200 gadget is worth it for one game. -
do i have to join to play on the server? im looking for a private.

rather than imposing your dogma on others how other people play how about asking for something productive? like a better system for filtering through servers to make it easier to find your choice of server? sadly i don't see such a thing happening what with standalone so close you might as well just wait for that instead but still the idea remains. Times have changed, the days of "your server must look like this or be banned" are over.

I would be careful pairing up with randos. Much better to join a clan. Some people might act friendly on the forum but then when you meet in the game they shoot you in the legs just for giggles. -

This is an alpha. It exists so that DayZ can gather data. Not so you and your friends can have a good time playing it. DayZ is not going to waste all of its time fighting hackers when they need to work on the mod first. -
bah once an ALT+F4 allways a ALT+F4. If I shot at you I bet you would jump on your ALT+F4 keys out of pure habbit. Once you start doing it it just become so easy to keep doing it.
