Yeah I did indeed, and I tried everything that was suggested but to no avail. It's either due to the latest patch or a Windows update causing some conflict. I have logged the error with the development team so will wait to see what they say. The games perfectly playable, it's just annoying to see that error message every time I exit the game.

Hi So i randomly started to receive this pop up message every time i exit Day Z, even if i just go into the menu and then exit out of the game i get the message. I can play the game maxed out with no issues. I have tried verifying the files via steam, i have even uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I never used to get this message so no sure what has changed, my hardware hasn't neither has my mods, and i don't have many of them either. I have a beefy PC RTX 3090, 32GIG RAM, i9900k processor, running latest nvidia drivers and windows 10 update. Anyone else having this or know a fix please?

Thank you, yes it showed up in application log, but i have no idea what this means, also it doesn't end in 0x0000005 but when i check the time it occurred it was the same time as i was exiting Day Z. I'm not too familiar with how to use Event Viewer, which section should I look under?

Actually i first thought it could be a mod too, but i just reformatted my computer and installed vanilla Dayz (no mods at all) and same thing happens. It only happens with this game, and the message isn't displayed until i exit the game. It's very strange, but quite annoying.

As the title says really, just spent ages downloading the ARMA 2 Complete purely for the mod and read on some forums that Steam still had the old patch update and therefore there wasn't many servers to play on. Can anyone let me know if the latest patch is now running on steam? Thank You

I'm going to download commander tonight, it was a nightmare using Steam, out of approx 50 servers i could use about 3 which only had about 6 players on it. Steam is pointless for DayZ, at least until the standalone comes out i guess.

Game was working fine before the update and for a day or 2 after, obviously Sixlauncher won't use the latest version (ending in 5) which means i have to use servers ending in 4 which is what i've been doing however from yesterday evening my character starts with a gun which is normal as i last logged out with one but i can't shoot, or reload, if i press the mouse button nothing happens and same goes for it i press R, again nothing happens. Anyone have the same problem or know a fix? I dont' want to uninstall SixLauncher because i don't like manually messing around with all the files myself but it's a little fraustrating that Sixlauncher won't update to the latest version.

This mainly happens in the cities, at times it makes the game unplayable as i get all these odd grey triangles etc and can't see where i'm going. Sometimes if i angle the camera slightly in a different direction i can avoid it or if i use zoom but it's really annoying. Any fix? it's been much worse since the last update?

As the title says really, i'm just curious if Six Launcher downloads and applies the patch manually or if i need to download the patch from Bohemia's website and manually install it myself?

Thanks for both replies, Cinnabus i'll give what you said a try as it's probably more user friendly doing it via Six Launcher. I know it's only a matter of downloading it and double clicking the exe but i just don't want any complications spoiling my game and Six Launcher has never let me down before so i'll let it do the work for me :)

Snap same here. Also i'm finding it almost impossible to even log into a server, everything was working fine until i just applied the latest update. Hope they fix it soon!

Not to say that ARMA 2 looks that dated but i was just wondering if there are any higher res texture packs out there? Some objects in ARMA 2 look very blurry when stood close to them. I'm going to install Day Z tonight so wanted it looking it's best before proceeding. Thanks Everyone

I'm playing on regular setting not veteran but when i press M it goes to the map screen but there is no map it's just a black screen. Why is this, do you have to find a map in game or is something wrong?

I only ask becasue currently mine says 1.51 or something like that even though when i insalled my retail copy it said updating to ver 1.60. Does everyone elses say 1.51 or ver 1.60 in the bottem right hand corner? Currently i'm downloading the 1.60 zip file to install just encase the auto installer didn't do it properly.

PROBLEM SOLVED - YEPEEEEEE Ok it was because i trusted the ARMA2 auto installer, it did say updating to 1.60 and it downloaded the files which took about 15mins but when i went into the game it still said version 1.5.1 etc. I then downloaded the 1.60 patch manually and installed it. Then when i went into the game i noticed it now said version 1.60 and now it had different icons too, Arma 2, Arma OA and Joint Operations so i knew it was probably fixed. I then installed Six Launcher again and it took me into games without any problems. The satisfaction of finally playing and self accomplishment was amazing, Lol. oh and thanks for your reply LVG, i just tried it before reading your reply and it worked a treat.

I had it over steam already and i actually once got to play a level although the zombies couldn't see me, i could walk straight pass them everytime it was like i was almost floating a little or in some sort of God mode so that wasn't fun. But it only happened once, the rest of the time i would get stuck on the black loading screen with the green loading bar full until i held ctrl alt del to log back to out to windows. Well i'm installing the two games again, it auto patches to the latest version of OA. Then i'll try reinstalling Six Launcher again and fingers crossed. Otherwise i'll go down the other log winded route of deleting the games and six launcher and downloading it via stream again and then try again on steam using six launcher. It's my last resort to play this game unfortuntely, maybe it won't work but i've got to give it a try before simply giving up or before someone can tell me where i'm going wrong. just noticed that when i enter OA it still says ver 1.1 etc at the bottom right hand corner shouldn't it read 1.60? It's strange because when i installed OA it updated to 1.60 but why doesn't it say ver 1.60 when i open the game?

I've got the retial versions, i installed six launcher and everything was fine until i try to join a server. One of two things happen, either i get stuck on the 'waiting for host' screen forever until i press Esc and go back or it gives me one of those many No Entry 'bin/' blah blah blah error messages and then takes me back to the main menu of the game. I'm now uninstalling everything and reinstalling again. If that fails probably i'll give up or try again downloading it using Steam but that takes about 8 hours :( Any advice, are there any setting in Six Launcher i need to play around with?

So i'm using the retail versions of ARMA 2 and OA. The game did auto patch, i've also installed the latest beta patch too. I'm using Six Launcher latest version. It installed my @DayZ folder without any problem and when i open OA i can see the @Day Z text in the top right hand corner. BUT whenever i try to join a server i usually get an error message either at the start or after i push Esc saying: No Entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgVoiceTypes/Male01.alternative' OR SOMETHING SIMILAR TO THAT. Although i've read about this and most people say it's normal and you can just ignore it and push 'ok' and that it dosen't effect the game. HOWEVER i get stuck at the 'Waiting for Host' Screen. I can hear the waves of the beech but the 'Waiting for Host' Screen never disappears unless i push Esc. PLEASE HELP ME Recently it's changed, i'm no even making it to the 'Waiting for Host' screen it just comes up with one of those No Entry blah blah blah error messages and then takes me back to the games home screen page.
