that doesn't sound fun at all, actually. not that i care, because I enjoy the PvP aspect, but when they're not going to shoot back, there's no fun in that, just waiting to get banned by an admin.

i prefer AS50. furthest kill with the AS50 is 1591 meters. It would take much more skill and a bit of luck to do that with the M107

True, and although I knew that, i appreciate the quality answer, nonetheless. I just can't figure why people who only game and surf the web would have that much ram. That's why I made a game reference in my question, but I should have been more clear. I hope what you are saying about the Standalone is also true about Arma 3

you never said how many FPS you are getting. Also, what do people do with 32GB of RAM? Can any game even utilize half that amount of RAM?

For some reason, this reminds me of a time when we had four guys in a Huey, and the pilot lost connection to the server. All of a sudden, we realized we had no pilot, and nobody could switch to the pilot seat. We did all eject safely, but there was a funny (afterward) brief moment when we got quiet and all thought, "What do we do now?" -

it's funny, because when you were like, "I'm losing it" in the chopper, I was thinking you had plenty of time to recover. LOL You just had to level out. Good ejection. -

I totally understand why he didn't open up and fire a bunch of rounds. But even one round should at least give a general direction of where the shot came from. The enemy appeared completely clueless. They just sat there, almost motionless. The most they did was take a knee, and not even go prone.
