i agree. op makes a few valid points, and some invalid points, but it's an alpha, and hopefully the developers are learning from it and will release an improved standalone, which will continue to get improved upon. And I liked his Quantum Leap reference. -

funny you mentioned bambi hunting, because i just got killed before i was even able to get one piece of gear. The thing is, it's not a big deal, because 1) it shows what a wimp the other player is for resorting to killing someone who is clearly unarmed 2) lost nothing by getting killed. I restart with the exact same gear i had

LOL @ kids. No. It's just that this game if filled with cheaters, but for the integrity and spirit, it's best not to lower yourself and cheat. that's all. not crucifying anyone over it. you kids read into things too much.

did you try hitting the key to climb over obstacles (default is V, i think) -
The only problem is when you do, it never informs you how the died all the time Sometimes it says unknown causes, sometimes it says something like, "X was killed by" and doesn't tell you who killed the body. In any case, if you don't want to see death messages, you should be able to turn off the death messages, so everyone could be happy
