in the second video, was he up against AI, or live opposition? Because either way their level of intelligence was extremely low. Why would anyone sit around, and not even go prone at the very least when enemy/sniper fire is in-bound. He's using an SVD from about 150m away, and the enemy can't even tell a general direction of where it's from? -
Was thinking the same thing. The Lapua is the new AS50.

if you want to play vanilla DayZ, go to one of the other dozens of servers. This is his server, and he's setting it up this way. You can choose to not play on it. -

I'm not the expert on this so I can't say for sure. Theoretically it should help because you'd then not be recording and writing the the same drive that's running your game, but I don't know enough about external hard drives and if they are slower to write to than internal drives. -

that's because you're recording to the same hard drive I'm guessing? That's what happens if you don't use record to a separate drive, usually. -

Because the 74u is smaller than the 74 but fires the same round, it makes sense for for 74u to have more recoil, so I think it's balanced correctly.

IRL, the 74u would handle better in close quarters, but in this game it makes no difference, so I'd always go with the full size 74

Agreed, especially when the original poster spelled his named "Webbers", but then incorrectly spells his own name as "Webers" in the post. Don't want to be grammar police, but damn, it's your own name!

it might help a little, but it won't give you the gains you're expecting or hoping for. Have you searched the web for ways to optimize your settings, and editing some of your game files with Notepad? That made a nice difference for me. -

yeah, you kinda were the murderer, actually. it looked like 2 guys were hurt, and getting attacked by zombies. one tried to help the other by shooting zombies, and you ran in and tried to hack them up with the hatchet, then grabbed a shotgun, and killed a dude. -

i dont know these guys, but they did say at the end of their video that they were doing that for one day only. not sure whether that was true or not. If they were playing around, then they should have passworded the server and only had members on, and not feeding on random players, though.
