TL;DR: Add an adapter that allows for running western optics on the ka's, and the ability to weld hunting scopes to Mosins. Full idea: So I've been playing some (Xbox) official lately, and I am currently running around with a ka-101. Thing is, I've also got my hands on Baraka sight and the 6x ACOG/red dot sight. Of course, I can't Mount either optic on my gun. And this got me thinking; does that have to be the case? I Mean, the gun itself is quite a great platform, and the only thing that really limits it to the western platforms in my opinion is the limited optic selection. So what if, to balance the eastern/western weapons out and increase attachment compatibility, some kind of Adapter Mount could be added that can be fitted on all ka platforms, and hell maybe even the VSS with the help of a screwdriver or wrench. This would allow the player to mount the western optics we all know and love to the weapons are currently quite limited attachment wise. I would imagine this being a somewhat rare military item, not too elusive but not a part of your typical spawn town loot collection. Also, maybe the Mosin could receive this buff as well, but instead of a removable attachment you would need a blowtorch to weld on the hunting scope. The drawback here being that more items are needed to do so, as well as this being a permanent modification. Thoughts? Feedback? Other ideas? They're all welcome.
