I may be wrong but i thought you could only get banned from a specific server for using a gun that isnt in dayz rather than a global ban? No one on here can really help though & you'll probably just get trolled but you may be able to contact Battle Eye to appeal the ban. Someone may be able to help with that & point you in the right direction.

A lot of people are playing on private servers too on Lingor etc. You must deal.

Go take a closer look...I found a heli that had crashed when i saw the exact same thing.

2 questions.... Where is the server located (Europe)? So i believe that if a server is running Lingor Island it means my data wont be saved to the main hive. So what happens to my current gear if i join a server running this? Thanks.

Try lower populated servers. Less chance of meeting hackers but less interaction with other players...which may be a good thing if you're trying to gear up.

What exactly do you want the community to do? Im pretty sure some server admins are grouping together to get a list of known hackers. However if you have no proof to support the claim then you're wasting everyone's time. Get the cheating players names & report them to the server admin of the server that YOU were playing on in future (if you can). If its the admins who are cheating then just find another server & let them wallow in their own mess. You could just wait & hope the stand alone version has better protection...but even if it does they'll still be hackers (just like every other fps). Or just do what i do. Find another server & start again. Im more worried about falling off rocks than a hack attack these days.

Its taken a good lot of searching but me & my buddies finally found a vehicle. Just keep trying different spots & different servers. We spent the last few nights looking for the parts we need & after a few setbacks we finally got it working yesterday. Its a pos car but it's ours. It took a lot of effort to get it working but that's what made it so rewarding. :)

Operation flashpoint & red river worked well on the xbox. Dont these games use the Arma 2 engine or something similar?

Been playing since May & ive seen 2 vehicles...1 that worked. The one that worked appeared at a spawn point near the coast. Lucky for me until i crashed it. Spent last night running from Cherno to the NE air field on a fairly low populated server. Checking vehicle spawns all the way there. Guess how many i found?...None unsurprisingly. Its not the 1st time that ive specifically hit the vehicle spawns either on multiple servers as well. I think a good fix would be for each player to only have the ability to save one vehicle (probably the last one they enter). Any others they leave should get reset.

This would have been good if you weren't shooting a hacked gun probably at a hacked helicopter?

Ive seen some servers popping up with a max player limit of 100. Any one know if these are working as well as smaller servers or are they liable to crash more?

I re-spawned with that 'hero' skin after dying recently so im not sure if its related to humanity. Also the bandit skin is kinda messed up as it disappears when your humanity rises. So you have to be an absolute murdering psychopath to keep the bandit skin...

Just a quick tip to try & save yourself from a bellend attack. If your quick you can go to the menu & hit abort before you land on the ground. You have to be pretty quick as the hack also seems to grey out the abort option. If your quick enough though you can hit abort. It might not work for everyone but it worked for me & i re-spawned in the same spot i was at before i went into orbit. A friend also survived the fall with full blood.

I played a bit of the armory in Arma 2 to get used to guns & vehicles etc. It didnt help too much as the 1st time i found a vehicle in day z i crashed it & killed myself after about 5 minutes!

Not everyone is a dick though...why would one boast about the levels of dickness they have achieved? I'll just make sure i kill anyone called Joker in future, thanks.
