    Way to punish bandits.

Morality is a player choice. Not the game's simulation. I often feel bad for shooting people even though I'm a KoSER, but I really don't see how anyone ISN'T a KoSer. Today I killed this poor guy who probably didn't have a clue about the game, he was just prone getting into the store we were raiding, probably hoping we were gone. I only killed him really because I had no idea what he was doing, he could have been a scout for a bigger group, just some poor bastard looking for food, a newbie desperately trying to forage his way through the world, or something else. I don't know what his deal was, all he had was an axe, but I still had to shoot him. I don't want to shoot everyone but the guys I know, but it's the only way of dependable survival I have. TL;DR People can feel bad about killing others if they want to. It doesn't need to be the game's automatic decision

    DayZ comic on Ctrl+Alt+Del

Should have just been a skit about bleeding and broken legs

Zombies need a big fix. (ragarding run cycle and speed)

I'd rather just have slow zombies that are dumb as bricks but will wreck you if you alert them and can't outsmart them. Lower their awareness, increase their numbers massively, and reduce their speed to like crouch running speed at best and make them at least trip or something so we get rid of these ludicrous "trains" chasing after newbies on the coast. I'm tired of seeing these "just crawl"- no, I shouldn't have to spend minutes looting one low yield place. I'm willing to spend about 15 minutes looting a small town considering the abysmal quality of most yields. Most of the time I prefer to just use the nuke to eliminate zombies because it's likely to be the most effective since you're almost bound to take damage due to their backwards style movement. It's ridiculous and needs to stop in favor of slower but massive hordes.

Stop modeling DayZ after 28Days Later

Zombies were always supposed to be slow and overwhelm with sheer numbers. That's the only real reason stealth would ever be viable. You could honestly just replace the zombies with dinosaurs and you'd still have the same mod at this point. DayD: Dinosaur Simulation

    Opinion on server hoppers? (JUSTICE)

I don't really care if someone is mad about server hopping for something with how rare some of these drops are in the game and how difficult it is to recoup your stuff sometimes. I don't farm for equipment by doing it (aside from getting my first gun from balota deer stands) or if I need something direly like a bandage and for some stupid reason a grocery store has none even though I've literally seen 7 in one before. I don't do it regularly for farming, just on occasion. I don't really see why you have that much of a problem with it. considering the entire drop system is completely random luck. Also you're so hardcore for killing a guy just logging in without a chance to do anything at all.

    Any secure storage?

If the game isn't meant to be played by raiding or collecting more items then it makes it pointless to ever do anything ever again once you have a crossbow and hunting gear and a water canteen. You'd basically just turn this into Cabella's Zombies for two hours Marathon Hunting Adventure. If I can never stockpile anything or ever establish anything I'd probably not really care about getting any good equipment cause I'd just lose it. Though it can be lost, tents grant an end-game investment to stockpile equipment for bigger adventures. They provide a sink in which to pour our investments of time and energy into and receive or lose said investment.
  7. I seriously don't understand why everyone thinks that many bandits actually go that much out of their way to camp spawning areas or things like that. It seriously is just huge amounts of respawning to get better spawns because we can't choose our spawns, for some reason.
  8. I'd really like the ambient twig sound removed. It's really paranoid when you're running through the forest and you hear the ambient twig break. Same goes for all the other ambient sounds that make movement-esque features. This would give them a nice purpose rather than removing them outright

Why do people trust so easily in this game

By trust I mean to not kill anyone and everyone you ever see if possible. Such as people who call friendly
  10. It couldn't possibly be everyone spawn hopping to balota airfields because they have no guns. Couldn't be possible at all

@ Beginners..no gun start is not impossible

No it's not impossible. It's completely pointless and serves no function other than to make most spawns completely pointless and make most people just keep respawning and server hopping until they can find a gun in balota deer stands. All having no gun does is make the game tedious and add pointless slowing to the game. It's not impossible, it just serves absolutely no function to the game. Why do new players have to search for their first gun? Does it have to be a pointless rite of passage that older players think everyone needs to be forced to go through? Does it help lower PvP even though the makarov is one of the worst guns in the game? As per collaboration: It doesn't add to people collaborating because if everyone collaborates but no one has a gun everything is pointless. Once someone has a gun they're a complete liability to the group; personally I don't trust anyone but my friends in mumble, so I don't really see how you can trust someone you just met to raid a town once you both have a gun. Summation: All having no starting gun does is make the game more tedious. All I ever do when I die is just raid the deer stands of balota then server hop if there's no guns there. I don't care about the ethics of it, it's stupid that some players think that starting everyone with a makarov is so game breaking even though if you can get lucky you can find automatic guns within minutes of spawning.
