What permissions you have is still limited by the toolkit for the server. In the case of ARMA, kick, ban, message, and restart. "Full permissions" on a minecraft server can be (I wouldn't know, I don't play the game, nor admin one) greatly different from ARMA's.

Unwilling to play on French server due to latency. :D Yeah, I've tried with different DayZ and beta patches and my two friends are having the same issue. We got DC'd from one server, it was down, so we spread out to find a new server to play. What's the chance that all three of us (4 including Jesters) are having the same sudden issues at the same time with different servers?

Yup, there are script-kiddies in DayZ.We all know this. But it's just like playground bullies; ignore them, walk away, suck it up a bit. If they don't get to come on to the forums and see a post of their various exploits and people whining about them, some of them will eventually stop. Second, don't call them hackers, they're little script-kiddies who found a website with a program to run. No hacking required. Script-kiddies. So much more appropriate and accurate. Also, sucks that you run into so many hacker prone servers. Sorry, dude.

So, you're a hoarder? Okay, that might be a bit harsh but seriously, I have at most, one tent. And that's what I've got with 2 squad members. Most of the time, I live with what's on my back. If you have a 'camp', you're going to lose your stuff. My buddies and I found a nice little camp tonight. We've now got ghillie suits and coyote backpack. You guys with tents sure make our lives so much easier.

Legit, the MK48 does have the woodland camo.

I didn't want to claim abuse when it happened to my friend and I last week but similar happened as well. We were both killed in a firefight, and we may have killed one of them (my buddy died before there was a chance for a murder to show on the debug screen). I have film of it as well (editing it for youtube :P). I'm labelled as banned for hacking/cheating, something I've never done ever and he just comes up as banned. Were they in a UAZ? That's what my friend and I were fighting near when we found them on Altar mountain.

AS50 and 3 mags up for trade, curious what you'd give for it. Feel free to PM if you'd prefer to make a private offer. Also, how might somebody join up with your group. I blog and am working on doing some videos and a larger group than I normally play with would be nice.

Found a couple tents loaded down with stuff but no vehicles. Limited bag space so I grabbed the AS50 and the mags and ran like hell. I'm not interested in another sniper rifle as my group already has that covered, looking to get rid of this for something more useful. Not going to request anything specific, just leave me any offers. If you'd prefer, PMs are acceptable if you would prefer a more silent auction. Edit: Already have a ghillie suit, looking for preferably weapons/ammo.

You're most likely to find script kiddies (please, they're not hackers) on populated servers where they can cause trouble with tons of people. The only script kiddies on low pop servers are the ones who've Alt-F4'd from a fight and are trying to flank from another server.

No help spawning, no showing on map, but in game voice communication and the ability to share control over tents would be nice. If you can't coordinate where each other is and find a place to meet up, too bad.

I used to be like that... Now I only announce my presence if I've got cover and my rifle pointed at their head. If they move to look for me or don't respond, I fire. Tired of getting shot while yelling out 'friendly' and losing decent gear.

Not exactly sure why, though the BattlEye message says for hacking/cheating. This isn't a global ban, just this single server that i happen to really like. I'm hoping that this was a mistake made by an admin. I was playing last night with a friend, got into a firefight on top of Altar hill (where the UAZ spawns) with two men in ghillie suits. There were no nametags so I'm not sure who it may have been. Both my teammate and myself died without receiving any murder counts so I couldn't tell you necessarily who we got into a fight with. I'd love to hear back from somebody from DayZ or the server about the ban. I do have video of the gun fight from that night, if that would assist my case in any way. Please reply back soon.

Can't tell if idiot or troll... Mouse and keyboard are superior to controllers. This is a fact; it's why there were no more Xbox Live/Windows Live crossover games.

I eat and drink once when I find it on the ground, leaving the rest. I don't bother picking up the ammo and dropping it because it is a bit of a douche thing to do. If somebody is going to shoot you in the back, they probably already have a weapon, you taking the ammo won't do a thing. And what do script-kiddies (they're not hackers, don't make them sound cooler than they actually are) and night farmers have to do with being a jerk?
