    So i know this thread is 12 plus years old, but i think i found a fix, so what i did was installing the BERCon.exe, and adding it in here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DayZ\BattlEye, and when i booted the game it all worked, idk if its and actual fix, or just pure luck, but atleast i can play, and hopefully this issue wont come back Edit so i loearned you have to lauch the conBer.exe file manually, but you dont have to type anything into it, just lauch it, then it should work
