Hello I've made a few suggestion, but my topic was lost during the forum transition, so I post them again: First: Medic zeds: Would spawn near hospital or crashed ambulances (crashed ambulance would spawn like the crashed chopper, except next to roads). Killing those zeds would give you a small chance to get some medical supplies: bandages, painkillers, morphine, heatpack or a bloodpack. The crashed ambulances would spawn randomly on the map next to a road with a bunch of medic zeds next to it, and would spawn only 1-3 medical items (no medical cardbox). Would be fun to implement an ambulance as new vehicule too, with a working siren :D Another idea I had was to implement a .22 LR carabine. Would do small damages (like glock / M9 damages) but would have a scope & be suppressed. Low range (After 150m you won't deal any damage). It'd be the perfect weapon to kill zeds & hunt animals, but won't really be usefull against players (so no whine about overpowered sniperz) Another idea I had was the UMP. To those who are not familiar with the heckler & koch weapon family, it is a submachine gun using .45 rounds and a 25 rounds mag. Why am I suggestin it? More firepower than the MP5, less noisy than a M4, easier to move around with, yet small clip than both MP5 & M4. Plus, you could use 4 M1911 or 4 revolver clips to create 1 UMP clip. I hope that way more people would do some CQC fights. Also, for the shotgun users, I am thinking about removing the slugs for the shotguns & adding beanbag rounds instead. Those non-lethal rounds would knock a player off, allowing you either to run away without killing the player or to loot his backpack while the player is unconscious. If that ever come true i'll be the first to run around with a 870 or 1014 and do this for the lulz. It has been suggested, but I think attachment, like scopes, red dots, acogs, susat, PEQ, grip & bipods should be found in the game. For the aiming devices, it'd take a few shot for the player to zero it with efficiency (3-5 shots maybe?) that way we could attach a dot or a scope on the crossbow (it really needs a real sight), or on the pistols I also thought about adding more loot locations but lower the loot chance (instead of having 40% of usefull loot, 10% of military, 30% of generic and 20% of trashloot, what about 60% of trash, 3% of military, 17% of usefull & 20% of generic?) (this is just an exemple)

I was also thinking about a way to mark the characters: Armbands You sacrifice a bandage to attach it around a player's arm. The bandage would be of one certain, customizable color (red, white, blue, yellow, green, pink...) May prevent friendly fire when playing with a squad, but may also inform other players that you're not alone. Also, ghillie players won't be able to have one (seems logic, would you carry a pink armband, therefor ruining every effort you've put on to stay hidden? Nop, don't think so) -
Welcome in Chernarus, supposedly in Czech Republic. Do you travel in Europe with a gun in your backpack? No, you don't. Plus, having no weapong is good for the players: people with no brain will run around, be beaten to death by zeds, will find it way to hard & will never come back. People with brain will watch some videos after a few failure, will learn how to avoid the zeds, where to look, will download a map with the loot position & will, after a short period of time, become true survivors, TL;DR: No, you don't need a gun. Stop being a whining little pussy & learn to suck the dirt. At least with your mouth full of tasty earth you won't complain on the forum.

basically the same thing happened to my friend and I. We were looting the south castle, and on the last level before the roof we hear someboy opening a pepsi. The bandit was on the roof, drinking & aiming at the stairs. He had a winchester, my friend had an AK74. We won. Thanks PepsiCo!

PVE in this game is a nonsense. The IA is flawed, why would you hunt zeds? That's tarded... I play with a group, we hunt supplies, we hunt players, yet we cooperate. Wow, how can that possibly happen? The real fun of this game is not playing alone, it's playing with a group, having a tactic, making ambushes... If you're too dumb not to understand that, well, I think hello kitty online has a server slot for you. -

People will still whine because they'll say that AS 50 still OS them, even with an armor... Plus i'm not really sure a BA won't stop a slug from a remington, not to mention the broken ribs the impact may cause. -1 to the suggestion

Sorry sorry, but the flecktarn is not the most efficient camo in mid-europe. Take a look at the british DPM, Danish M84, Swedish M90, Russian Flecktarn-D, the partizan (still russian), the Auscam... I'd love to see an urban camo though, like the urban tiger-stripes...

As50 and M107 are great to kill DC'ers, and are usefull to pin down cars & other vehicule you want to car-jack. Deal with it, they're not going to be removed

Yeah, sorry Shellmala for my tone :) The battery thing would be interesting for things like flashlights (don't know about NVG but they are battery-efficient I think). For one example, I have a red-dot for my airsoft rifles, with one battery I can use it around 1200hours straight. That's 50 days Batteries would be needed for other stuff. What about remotes for pipebombs?.

I don't want superloot to be removed, but i'd like to see a bigger loot table (I suggested more loot location but lower the loot chances, had a few suggestion about weapons including a .22 civilian scoped rifle, and change the slugs ammo for shotgun to beanbag ammos, causing players to faint but not to die). If you play with a group, it is indeed easy to find some swit lootz (we run around heli crashes, raid stary, NWAF, yet it takes time to scan the area for snipers & other players.) The infra-red of the L85 serves for two things: hunting snipers (very efficient, since they don't move) & spotting players in large fields. The L85 stopping power & damages are really low, don't complain about it people...

So much whine in this topic. To be efficient with a sniper rifle you need another guy playing with you (a runner) equiped with a rangefinder (otherwise you won't be able to zero your gun efficiently). It takes time to find the rangefinder (me and my team were lucky, we found a huge camp, 11 tents, filled with hi-end gear, and looted the shit out of it) I am currently playing with an AS-50, the .50 cal gun that has a 1600m zeroing ability. So far i've killed 3 people with that gun: 1 was a team mate who was between me & a zed 1 was a guy that decided to loot a deer stand. Too bad me & my mate were going for that deer stand as well & he stood up in the stand, not proning. The last one was when me & my group raided NWAF. 7 people with me, I spotted a guy in the firestation, he was 800m away. Camping in the last floor of the tower.If me & my .50 weren't here we'd have lost a few mens. So no, hi-end weapons do not disbalance the game. I can understand that you hate it when you're freshly spawned & some guy hunts you down in cherno or elek with his .50 / DMR / M24, but it's the game. I don't think Hi-end gear should disappear just because you got sniped by bandits from time to time. You don't want to get sniped? Stay the fuck away from stary / NWAF / Cherno / elektro / berezino. find a team, play tactically, do not rush in open fields like a complete fucktard, cause if you do you deserve to be sniped down 1200m away.

US 575: admin kicking people so he can play with his buddies

I was on skype with my friend, he was trying to log on a low-pop server, found the US 575, logged in, there were 3 people only. My mate saw a chopper passing by, and was directly kicked. He tried to log again, was kicked another time, and a 3rd time. If you want to play with chopper to mow down Zeds, dude, create a lan server... -
So I have a few ideas. One of them is the medical zombies. They spawn around the hospitals and around crashed ambulances, have a chance to carry some medical stuff (blood bag, painkillers, epi-pen, morphine...) They'd wear white doctor coats. It'd be fun to create a crashed-ambulance vehicle, spawning randomly near roads with a few medical supplies (like 3 loots max). And maybe add some non-crashed ambulances that you can drive around with the siren blasting off :D Another idea was creating another weapon: a civilian .22 LR carabine with a scope and maybe a suppressor. Would do small damages (I'm thinking M9 / glock 17 type of damages), not much noise, a good chance of finding ammos, a small range (I've never shot a .22 LR but I think over 150m will have difficulty to kill a Zed) Maybe add 2 types of ammunition: .22 LR subsonic and High velocity. Another weapon idea is the UMP .45 Why do I want it? Simple: Compatible with .45 ammunitions (takes 4 1911 mags OR 4 revolver clip to create an UMP clip) It is supposed to be an alternative for between the MP5 & the M4 for CQC: More firepower than the Mp5 but more maniable than the m4. Less noise than the M4, too. I think it'd create more possibilities in CQC. What about a rare version of the UMP with a silencer and some subsonic ammos, only compatible with the UMP so nobody will use SD ammos on revolver & 1911? Another think I'd like to see is this: add more loot location but lower the loot chance, so when scavenging a site we really would search all of the area and not only a few buildings. Why? It'd create interesting situation I think, more ambush possibilities, the sensation of real search... Yeah, I'd like it. Also, but people have already mentionned it: the possibility to find some weapon attachment, like scopes, silencers, red dot sights, iron sights, grips, bipods & other stuff like this. I think it'd had some diversity in the game. Any newly attached scope / dot would need a few shots to be zeroed though (3 shots would be nice I think) That's all for the moment folks!

the idea of the .22 is to have a hunting / zed hunting weapon and eventually a small distance sniper for the early pvp (defending against those bandits hunting down freshly spawned players in cherno). A .223 rifle would be too powerfull against players and more people will rage "ololo I got sniped remove snipers lololo". Civilian zeds can loot bandages, i'm saying specific zeds looting epi-pen, painkillers, eventually bloodbags and morphine, not only bandages & painkillers. And I don't think loot is fine, it is incredibly fast to loot & get some stuff if you are smart :) Edit: for the attachment, it is a Zed apocalypse, not a post-nuclear warfare apocalypse, so yes, attachement of any kind can be found, and since there was no EMP, you can use them.

For a bandit, one heavy sniper for the 1-hit 1-kill (AS50, M107, SVD) 2nd primary would be a weapon with lots of ammos. I'd take a M4 or a L85 & charge them with SD rounds secondary weapon I use a 1911. Easy to find ammos, deadly enough to deal easily with the aggoed zeds, not much noise
