Agreed with top poster: if you want to chase player, go for the dinner bell (400m zeroing, one hit is what you need most of the time). If you want to hunt zeds, go for the winchester (bigger mags, less noise)

WarZ is just stalker with zombies & skills. In my mind, it has good ideas (using another engine), but the rest... Well, that's basically some casual babymode survival game. When it'l lbe out i'll give it a try, but I'm pretty sure i'll stay on dayZ, since this is a real survival game.

Bollocks. You play with a clan, you ran into another clan, there is a firefight, and everybody who defends himself gets punished. I'm not going to call names here, but that's because i'm in a good mood. You're mad cause you get shot? Play smarter. Get shot in NWAF? Play with a group / Don't go there. Sniped while looting stary? Don't go there, or go with a group or hunt the possible snipers (make a little research with the words "how to engage a sniper with balls", you'll see a real hero in action) There is no "mindless killing". If somebody wants to act like a douch, let him do that. You just have to sneak beahind him with a dinner bell and make him cry over his precious lost gear.

more dynamic interraction with the environment, yes (for exemple, not having to stop when you try to pass a fence) But climbing buildings'n'shit, no. You can't climb with a gun + a backpack unless you are trained... And our characters are no special forces, they're civilians

Why even bother. Those guys think that anti-materiel snipers are only used against players, with is false (try to pin down an ural with your AK-74, i'm watching). But don't get me wrong, inside my "team" (8 players) we only have 3 sniper rifles: 1 dmr, 1 m24 and my AS-50. The 5 other players are playing with assault rifle (mostly M4 and M16) because they like those. Me, I don't like assault rifles. i'd rather play with a shotgn than an AKM. I'd love to see other shotguns, other type of ammos for those, but it's sadly not going to happen for the moment. God, i'd even play with the crossbow it it had a real sight & we could stack those bolts... Oh, I've been playing this game for almost 2 months, and i've been engaged by 2 snipers so far. Once while looting the roof of elektro's hospital, the 2nd time while looting a chopper on NWAF ( yup, totally my fault).
