My friends and I have found about 6 vehicles. Bus, Car, 2 Bicycles, Motorcycles, 2 Tractors, Pickup Truck x 2....They are VERY scarce indeed though.

Direct Comm is effective up to 100m. Have a whisper option set to 20m, Talk to 40m Shout to 100m And Megaphone to 250km would be incredible. I like this idea. -
I was wondering what the goal of the vehicle updates that should be coming shortly are? If anyone has any info on it that would be great to know or have an idea of what to expect :)

Helicopters are nice and all, I was hoping to know whether or not they're reducing load on servers for both functionality and availability of more vehicle spawns.

Installed and will give feedback. Server hosts seem to have trouble updating as there are only a handful of them available for play. All the rest are outdated...then again the day is still young.

Its very true that there are hot spots on the map, these are designed though for planning, direction, suspense and motives.

Whatever you choose to do based off of the community's feedback, I hope that when/if the time comes where you're a year since your release of the commercial version of Day Z that I'll still be able to read these discussions involving both you and the community. I think this is the most important part. I'm sure its very stressful for you as well at some times.

DayZ is a video game and we, as the community, would like to use your product "Twinkies" as an avatar in place for foods. I feel this would severely benefit your company's sales as you would receive FREE advertisement opportunities to a growing market of 300'000 to 1'000'000 people in the next coming year. If you could respond to me with written permission for use of your product's logo for the strict purposes of fun and immersion, whilst at the same time providing a strong benefit to you and your company, that would be great. Thank you for your time. -
My friend and I were on skype and trying to get to eachother. He was on the outskirts of Elektro and I was running through a field in Berezino when the 2km away aggrod zombie ran up behind me and 1HITKO'd me. Before that, same thing happened to my friend and we were both above 10'000 life. If the trade off for broken legs has meant that 1HITKO chances have gone up then what the hell? We were both outfitted M16s, NVGs, M1911s and ALICE packs.

Definitely. It sucks when you go into a major city and you try to sneak your way in...then go...fuckit ill just run into a building.

I think the aggro range is messed up due to Rocket introducing the environmental factors. It's pretty crazy when I aggro a zombie 1km away when I'm crouch walking and then he comes up and 1HITKOs me

Just because a game doesn't hold your hand whilst you walk through it aimlessly, doesn't make it any less of one. In fact, this makes it even more accomplishing and thus, more dangerous when your character's life is at stake. Did I say steak? Mmmmm -
Its pretty stable now, zombies aggro from much further in the plain daytime though. Heavier rain and environmental surroundings severely affect your player's fate.

This patch has been great, although servers are suffering from it and zombies are very paranoid. I have found that Ghillie Suits are very broken at the moment. When I first blossomed into the 1.7.2 patch, I noticed my suit was gone. The next day, my friend found a Ghillie Suit pack and equipped it. He later told me that he was randomly swimming whilst inside a building...shortly after checked his backpack and found everything gone. Hope this gives you some insight on the issue at hand and that its fixed soon ^^

I think what it is, is that when your being shot at...you'll most likely die from blood loss and not the impact of the bullet itself. This was created by the developers, so the effect of a ____ was killed is a just a result of that. When you join the server, you are put into a lobby list and if you notice on the top left you are on BLUFOR team. We are basically all "friendlies" and when we die from "friendly fire" it is simply a person dying not from blood loss, but having bullets riddled into their body to an extreme. When you're shot in-game, your blood descends at a rapid pace even a second after it occurs. Hope that clears it up :) TLDR : Its a message that pops up when someone doesn't die from blood loss

The new forum model is amazing and very comfortable to use! I love it's layout and i hope to be able to use it on my mobile android :) The patch has been a huge success that came a long with it's faults but as you said it'll get worse before it gets better. A few issues I'm experiencing so far are : - Slow Loading Times - Zombies being aggravated from extreme distances - Desync and Latency issues since patch Aside from these I have noticed the frames have increased and zombies are less of a bone-breaking threat by far. Thanks for the hard work and dedication from the DayZ Staff and I look forward to more enticing patches and even further frustrations with patching that follows after :P Major Vehicle Update will be a great anticipated patch.
