Its a shame that I'm faced with the exact same situation. I sort of have a solution to this and the server hopping that ties in well with Rocket's upcoming Server-Side logging detection. My proposal is to choose 3 servers that you would like to play on with a certain character. These will be your main servers and you can swap between them inexploitedly within a certain time frame. With another character option...you would then be able to choose 3 SEPARATE servers from the primary character. Now, with this said, items would still be able to be transferred to other players who choose theirs and so on. Which is fine...just delays the process and slows the whole thing down pretty much making it redundant. Clans would be encouraged to join their own servers so that you wouldn't have 10/50 available slots taken by them. Feedback? Constructive criticism welcome :) -
I would like to personally thank the being who stored an ATV, Tractor and a Dirt Bike on the almost outer edge of the map so that my friend Logan and I could use them to get back home :P Thank you so much BTW this was my first time driving a vehicle in almost 2 weeks of DayZ

Friend and I went to the most NW of the map trying to hit Devils Castle and completely missed it. Epic journey though. I hope that never changes. Always leave the game with a great story...for better or for worse. -

I agree that the spawn rate should be significantly increased but I don't want everybody to be driving all over the place. I do like the shock of seeing a vehicle that is actually in working order lol. I think I'll pay a visit to these clans and help regain our vehicles. Whos up for it?

Just wait until all the bugs are fixed. Rocket wants 150-200 per server which is the vision for the ArmA 3 DayZ -

Thats true that they may be affecting gameplay but to be honest I don't really hover around those areas and wait for spawns. Just get my loot in cherno/elektro/balota and go north :) -

Crowbars are useless, I find hatchets much more effective. -
I usually gain people's trust by saving them from a running horde of zombies. Afterwards friendship ensues.

For example, my friends and I play on US 29, Atlanta 5....a Seattle server and thats about it. I know we don't represent everyone playing but honestly if you find a working server thats local and up to date for yourself and all of your friends...then why not? I would also suggest that clan servers should be privatized to prevent a whole clan bombing a server with logins lol. -

This leaking fueltank will be resolved sometime this week as per the 1.7.2 patch notes on the forum. When the hull is breached below 95%, the fuel will start to leak. 95% is a bit too high imo but atleast it'll be adjusted by the community/devs later on :) -
Its up to the community and the development team to work together. This is just Alpha so dont get too down :) Arma 3 is just around the corner

Maybe we can designate a top-3 servers list for ourselves. With the solution that Rocket is putting forward of having Server-Side Logging Detection for Dcers, Swappers and Hackers...it would make logging a lot easier and catching these exploiters much more effective. Your thoughts forum? -
How can you say this? I have NEVER seen such a popular game where the actual CEO/FOUNDER/GUY WHO MADE THIS ALL POSSIBLE (with the help of the ArmA tools and key dev team ) actually communicates on the forum. I challenge you to go on the Battlelog forums, COD forums, WoW Forums, Diablo 3 Forums and find a post from the CEO. My only wish is that this never dies down, and that he keeps in touch with the community no matter how big this gets.

I just found one now, put it in my backpack cause I had my M16A2. Also found 6 magazines for it.

My friend and I have played on 2 servers tonight and had to exit both due to the reoccuring message of : " No response can be reached for 10 seconds " " No response can be reached for 15 seconds " " No response can be reached for 20 seconds " " No response can be reached for 25 seconds " and the server disconnects us. What does this mean?

Rocket is partially causing DC'ers

D/Cing is a huge issue and there are multiple ways to solve it. Finding the most effective, yet less intrusive, method will be a hard task. Rocket has stated that a new system will be in affect where if a server determines you have logged out/logged in within a certain parameter of time...multiple times...you will be killed. Though both the parameters and required times will be secret. Logout timers , though theyre prone to Alt+F4 Setting up combat system. Players who are "In Combat" cannot log out. Still prone to AltF4 Leaving the ALTF4'd character logged in is impossible at the moment... So far this decision by Rocket seems to help a little. -
