    Reduce Zombie Respawn Rate!

AK is a pretty loud weapon though, thus why I encourage my buddies to use their pistols. Grab a M1911, in my opinion its the best pistol out there as the ammo is amazing, the damage is reliable and you can use revolver ammunition as the revolver uses the same .45 bullets *EDIT* Carry around flares/tin cans and you can lure zombies away from a desired goal without attracting their attention or even worse...a bandit's attention

    Graffiti / Markings Spray

BAHA thats awesome!!!! I think it would just allow us a non-threatening ( possibly ) way of communicating with people. I often leave multiple campfires lit through the forest hehe. I'm sure people have used them I know it ^^.
  3. Why is it not a good idea? explain :) "Say 5, 10, 20 ,30mins or even longer your character will remain in game leaving them vulnerable to any passing zombie or player." Can't be done as characters are saved as soon as you leave and would create a dupe ability.

    Character respawning

I dont think those lives are taken into accountability. Your suggestion is good and may be implemented in further patches im sure of it :)
  5. I like the night time cause popular cities are usually dead and the servers are usually only half capacity leaving the loot for my own hands :D
  6. This wont be long. No worries about TL : DR ( too long didnt read ) 1. Know your body Make sure you're familiar to your controls. V to vault over fences...Scrolling UP/DOWN on the middle mouse to select items/actions...Sizing your audibility and detection against zombies and not walking over rocks. 2. Find yourself a weapon You spawn on the shore defenseless, your first objective should be to locate the nearest largest city and head towards it. Hatchets are extremely useful in melee and serve as a huge bonus to food/blood regeneration in later uses with Matches and the Hunting Knife. When your in the big city, scavenge the houses for a reliable gun. Your offhand weapon is very important, if not, more important than your main. This weapon will serve as your zombie-killer and threat detractor. 3. Gain Resources Food/Water : Bring extras of each and place them into a pack. Hopefully you were lucky enough to check the alleyways, shop market, houses for a bigger backpack. Bloodpacks and Morphine/Bandages/Painkillers go a long way. Though I must say, finding a hunting knife, matches and a hatchet is key...as cooked meat gives you 800 Blood per serving. Cook a cow and thats 6400 blood! 4. Understand the Inventory System This mod/game is all about organization. Main hand weapons take up 10 slots without ammo and Sidearms take 5 slots without ammo. Make sure you learn how to move items seamlessly from your main inventory to your backpack Right clicking on several onscreen inventory items may grant you additional options that you may not have known. 5. Know your Weapon Many people have several preferences for weapons. Make sure you know what weapon you want, the best effective range to protect yourself but maximize your damage, and the caliber of ammunition. Revolver ammo uses the same ammunition as M1911. Simply right-clicking the ammo in your G (Main Inventory) will allow you to convert it to useable ammo in either gun your prefer. Same goes for shotguns and so on... 6. Dont be an A$$ Killing survivors is the last thing you need to focus on. Its much harder to find a friend in this messed up world than it is to find night-vision goggles or a L856 thermal scoped weapon. If you wish to become a bandit, then you face your own advantages and consequences. 7. Don't Fall in Love This game is in it's Alpha development phase. Items are disposable. Just because you have lost everything, doesn't mean its the end. If you followed #6 you'll realize that servers/updates/implementations can destroy items...but not friends.

    Anyone want to group up?

this post will be moved in 3...2....1....

    A new player.

this is a 25x25km map, people will be rare to find. Rocket has mentioned that he hopes to increase the max population to 100+ which would be incredible :D
  10. Try altering your sticky keys by pressing shift rapidly. Relog in. Restart game.

    Bounty's on bandits

I think better skins for a higher murder count would be incredible. Though I believe the heartbeat sound would be much more audible no?
  12. ^ pretty much what he said. Keep the ideas coming though!
  13. I would love to combine clips/magazines together so that I wouldnt have a bunch of half/empty ones laying in my inventory...it just makes sense.
  14. It'd be nice' date=' but way too data-intensive. If it is feasible, I'm all up to it. In response to the OP, no, I never keep track of servers I join consistently. I just find one with the amount of players, ping and an interesting name that I'd like and click join. With your suggestion I'd have to start keeping track, and that's too much effort. Could always server-log between those select-few servers anyway, and I'd rather not have to keep one character per server in case I get tired of one or it becomes full. [/quote'] This isnt the suggestion I'm making. Choosing 3 servers ( lets say ) that are favorable to both you and your friends would allow you to experience the game comfortably whilst maintaining a non-exploited economy. EDIT* By showing the only servers you chose which where available. You wouldn't have to scurry through the extended lists or filters to find your desired ones. If you choose your secondary character, the desired separate servers show up for that profile.
  15. Um. This post is interesting at best. Zombies are easy to avoid and come with proper punishments of being noticed by other survivors and forcing you to vacate your place. Building is being implement soon enough when ArmA 3 comes out :)

Character death should carry more weight

I would say a great death punishment would be nothing. We already lose stuff as it is and the journey is long and torturous. What your complaining about is not death itself, but the availability of items within the game.

zombie speed / survivor speed ideas

I would say the speed should be implemented as soon as the vehicles are fixed.
  18. I'm sorry I couldn't help you further due to my friend killing you on the street when you were bleeding and crippled from the zombies. I meant well, obviously he did not :-/ Hopefully we'll run into each other again soon on friendlier terms. -Zoris
