Test out different servers. I get this too when I join odd ones. Just CTRL+ALT+DELETE, close the game and try a different one.

You don't have to survive 24 hours. Just play a couple hours in a session or more and the next time you log in you'll be at day one.

I would keep the Revolver Gold...just for sentimental value haha. I'm sure its not more powerful than the original :P *EDIT* Can you do a screencap of the gold revolver for me? I'd like to see it!

I believe its the amount of hours played in game before a day is over in the server. I definitely haven't put 72 hours into my character but as a casual gamer I'll put in 2-4 hours a day and find my Days Lived rise.

Servers that restart retain the saved vehicles. If a vehicle hasn't been touched for 7 days then it will be destroyed and another random vehicle will spawn in the server. Theoretically you could have a ton of vehicles. Keep in mind that others are after this as well and thinking like this would get you killed.

Allow 'direct' water source drinking & increased match spawns

I do see matches spawn quite often and pass them by. They're often an iffy spawn. With cans of food and other player spawns, the chances of having food is still quite high. 800+ Blood per meat is nice though ^^ -

I would agree that this engine is completely flawed for this type of desired game. Arma 3 will offer vast improvements and optimizations enabling a perfect release for Day Z. With the lush forests and in-depth cities already featured in ArmA 2, I can't wait to see that EVERY building in Arma 3 is not only enterable...but destructible ;)

Lure zombies into buildings...this proves to be super effective. Keep your health above 10k so that you don't get insta-knocked out. The biggest problem I see is when you get too cocky. Even with great weapons. Take every threat as it is.

Find survivors and try to befriend them instead of killing them. Watching a community you've created grow is completely amazing and having more friends in a server ( lets say 10 ) increases your survival chances through the roof. Drive down the coast and pickup/meet survivors ^^

^ is this for real? Wouldn't this create a universe of unintentional weapons set out by the developer? Or does it not matter cause this is only Alpha :P

I sort of have a solution to this and the server hopping that ties in well with Rocket's upcoming Server-Side logging detection. My proposal is to choose "X amount of servers" that you would like to play on with a certain character. These will be your main servers and you can swap between them inexploitedly within a certain time frame. By restricting these options, you will allow the servers to collect data more efficiently and punish those abusing the system without having to "chase them down" to put it in a horrible technical sense lol. With another character option...you would then be able to choose 3 SEPARATE servers from the primary character. Now, with this said, items would still be able to be transferred to other players who choose theirs and so on. Which is fine...just delays the process and slows the whole thing down pretty much making it redundant. Clans would be encouraged to join their own servers so that you wouldn't have 10/50 available slots taken by them. Feedback? Constructive criticism welcome :)

I memorize my teammates' weapons and stay in constant comm with them. A grouping feature should be implemented within the game so we can establish our own server-based communication with comprimisation.

I don't approve of this as it would take away from the elements portrayed in the game. If you want to play a character that you enjoy playing with your friends...then your going to have grow a pair. I admittingly won't play a character if my friends and I end the night in the rough. If I do...I'll end where we all did. But what if i die?....

Zeds have a chance to drop drinkables and food, something that I never found out till much later. Military zeds have a chance to drop special ammunitions :)
