Exactly what makes people who shoot first cowards? I would argue the exact opposite as they are usually looking for a fight. If they were cowards they would hide in the forest all day... What? Letting people go? Why? So they can come back and shoot me later? You know its so funny you see all these friendly players screaming about how KOS players are cowards or bad at the game or "psychos", but you guys are the ones always insulting us in the forums... When has a kos player been shown any courtesy by a friendly exactly? Surely not on these forums.... Really? Theres this new thing called "being stealthy"... Its where you decide to hide in the trees, not run through open fields and not run up to a fully geared player screaming freindly.... Its not impossible at all to play your way unless you choose to m ake it impossible...

Every time I come to this forum I regret doing so.

Look at how many posts are being spammed in saying how horrible the game is at such early a stage... What else can people respond to such ignorance? -
Dayz Anti-Game philosophy, is this still relevant and true?

No you stated what my reasoning was for shooting new spawns even after I had already explained my reasoning as If you could read my mind or something... Ive already explained what there is to gain from killing them which you seem to want to ignore so I can fit in your preconceived notions of KOS.... Its called survival. And I do hang around mil bases, but as I explained in a earlier post alot MORE of the kitted players hang out on the coast which is why I go there to play with them... What is so confusing about this to you? Is it that I am giving you reasoning that doesnt fir with your moral ideas of what a kos player should be thinking? I already explained that I do it for survival, not to increase excitement for new spawns. I did say that my playstyle does serve a necessary function in the game of making being a new spawn a tense experience.... Kinda confused how creativity comes into this discussion. Your gonna have explain that one to me... -

That's just a bonus... You dont get it... I want to be in firefights... I want heroes and bandits alike to try to kill me. Like I said earlier the most tense and fun times ive had in this game is during firefights which is one of the reasons I choose this playstyle.... That doesn't negate the fact that I shoot freshies because they are a direct threat to me AT THAT MOMENT in time. All the other things you listed, heroes bandits etc aren't right in front of me and NOT a threat at the momnet. You may not like what I do or the reasons for it, but dont try to put me in a box like you do everyone else that kills you... -
Punishing the aggressor - How far is too far?
execpro22 replied to makomachine's topic in General Discussion
There is NO line in this game...Anything you do to "punish" a KOS'er is acceptable just like anything a KOS'er does to you is fine... There is no right or wrong way to play.... -

You know these geniuses read the forums and realize that if they m ake a straight KOS whine thread they will get flamed... So what do they do? They disguise it as something else just to get people to read it... How clever you are OP.

Not justifying it at all as I think there is nothing wrong with anyway anyone plays the game. I was just giving you the reason why I do it.... I would argue that I am that GOOD that I can identify the threat unlike some naive freindlies who will eventually learn the hard way about new spawns... -

execpro22 replied to ProGamerGov's topic in General Discussion
Nope. I already explained how easy it is for a new spawn to get the upperhand on a fully kitted player... I dont give them that chance.. Why is it so hard for anyone to get that I am doing it for survival... Anytime I kill someone in my sight i increase my chance of survival... Is it really that hard to believe that some people kill for other reasons besides greifing? -

Just the unlucky ones who get too close and no I dont actively go looking for them. I do however go to the coast looking for a good fights sometimes as that is where alot of fully kitted players congregate... -

Oh I'm sorry, I didn't realize I needed to have my reasoning validated before I pull the trigger thanks for letting me know.... Oh yeah, shooting a new spawn in the legs, causing them to starve and quit the server is DEFINATELY not griefing them right? Please tell me your joking... It's Laughable that we have soooo many pseudo psychologists in this forum more than willing to tell you what your thinking and why your doing it even after you explain it to them... Listen freud, I gave my reasoning for shooting new spawns. You dont have to like it, but stop trying to fit me into your cliche stereotyping of Bandits just cause its easier for you to think of me like that then realize maybe I'm more than just a griefer..... -
I mostly KOS, but if I cant see a weapon on them and they dont look geared up I will attempt to rob them...Although I ve had a couple people pull concealed weapons from thier ass before... Yeah your definition its gonna be harder of course to get into a firefight, but it really depends on where you are robbing them and if they have back up... I suggest you try robbing people at Kamyshovo.. Alot of kitted players hang out there and you wouldn't beleive how many firefights I have gotten into just from being in that area... With how easy it is to gear up right now I really dont think anyone is really in it "for the loot" per se. i think most bandits are just trying to get some intense firefights going or some kind of intense interaction... Or sometimes its just the area you are in.... Like I said Kamyshovo or mil bases and airstrips are shoot first places for me and I'm just protecting myself mostly...
-
Ok I got it. The only thing I was arguing about was your use of "proper" which you have explained. And yes I do have a looser definition..at least thats what she said... Consequences I would say Is that contrary to popular belief bandits have alot shorter lifespans as we are putting our selves in danger more often than a friendly and I get into alot more firefights. I would say a Bandits life span is probably only a couple of days at best...

I've seen too many videos of some niave fully kitted hero who let a new spawn get to close and paid the price for it with his life... Now I cant speak for every KOS person in this game, but for me I shoot new spawns not because I enjoy "griefing" them but becuase I feel they are threat as they can go grab a gun and come find me or try to KO me while my back is turned.. My goal is to survive so I take out any potential threat along the way be they new spawn or fully kitted player... Like I said I'm also providing a function in the game by making being a newspawn not the care free experience that it could be if I followed your playstyle. People like me have a purpose in this game... -

execpro22 replied to gregnator's topic in General Discussion
Yeah ones you know huh.. Basically the server is filled only with your friends and I doubt they are going to be gunning you down the whole time.... The fact that you only want people you know in the server is obvious to even a "retard" like me that you want your own private loot farm without the fear of death... Basically negating the core concept of the game.... Oh I get it...Dont see how that is relevant to the fact that you want a private server just to create your own little "safe zone" in DAYZ which goes against the core principles of the game... I know it wont effect anyone on the public hive.. I was just making an observation as to why you really want a private hive... Yes we wouldn't want that pesky KOS playstyle getting in the way of your loot farming oh I mean "community" server... -
Oh boy.. This again? It;s already been explained to you numerous times how your cliche assumptions regarding KOS players being "bad" at the game are False... But yeah give your youtube videos another plug....

execpro22 replied to ProGamerGov's topic in General Discussion
I would argue that "griefing" actually makes the game more interesting... You say it seems wrong to snipe new spawns as they haev NO way of protecting themselves... So are you saying that new spawns should have some type of invulnerability just because they are new? Imagine how boring it would be to be a new spawn knowing no one will kill you till you get a weapon... I think "griefers"serve a very important purpose in DAYZ. I also feel that fresh spawns can be just as dangerous as a fully kitted player... -
Your definition of interaction and mine are completely different. I feel I get more "interaction" from players during a shoot out than I would just from having a conversation with them.... What exactly makes you think that it has to be played as a "we or them" scenario against zombies instead of people? Why can't it be both? Proper bandit? Are you saying there is a "proper" way to play the playstyle? The one major fallacy with your logic in this thread is that you are under the delusion that this game needs to be played a certain way to be fun... There are NO rules or "proper" ways to play this game. A person KOS people can have just as much "interaction" in this game from KOS as from being a friendly... Some of the most interactive and tense moments I have had in this game have come from choosing to KOS....

Remove all long firearms = best kill on sight deterrent.
execpro22 replied to alleycat's topic in General Discussion
Why does a certain playstyle need a deterent? Because you dont like it? So, your basically inferring that people who kos can only do it from far away? That's funny. You need to watch some more youtube videos.. Name tags? How bout a giant red arrow blinking in the sky over any bandits so you can know where they are.... -

execpro22 replied to gregnator's topic in General Discussion
Maybe I'm a little confused from all the drugs I do, but how does it being a private server negate the fact that you will just use it as your own private loot farm with no fear of death because you kick the people who dont follow your "playstyle"? -
