How to run ACE with DayZ installed? I use Six updater. When I join ACE server it complains about the DayZ files.

How? There aren't many options in the Six Launcher.

Can admins move players? Or can they only kick/ban? Anything else?

But is it POSSIBLE to move a player? I am stuck on Otmel island after server restart and respawned here due to a bug with all my gear. I'm not going to swim out and lose everything because of a bug... My group can't find a boat, and we have no heli. They have tried to get over the island with noob characters but they have to swim. So we are screwed... need a way to solve this.

Looking for a server where you can swim without losing gear. Please post tips.

I need a range finder, if anyone wants to trade, name what you need and I will try to get it for you. And when I find it we can trade. P.S. I will trade as a newly spawned character with your item only. So you wont be able to kill me and get my other stuff if you feel like griefing.

This shit needs to be fixed soon. I have over 5 people who I shot that disconnected so I couldn't finish them off and loot their body. What I hate the most is people shooting at you, missing and then disconnecting. And you spend 10-20 mins being pinned down thinking they are aiming at you. Such a waste of time.

The game is MUCH MUCH easier with a group. I played solo or like 10 hours, then I started to team up with 3-4 people and the difference is HUGE. Now we have tactics and we can have spotters when raiding. Something which is not possible when playing solo. Some people may think it is more exciting to play solo since it is harder, but I found grouping to be much more fun. Because I like the interaction with other players and the tactics vs other clans/groups when raiding hot spots. The zombies etc. are more of an annoyance than being hard once you learn how they work. It is the players which are the main predators.

Some great stories this game creates. Here is one that happened yesterday for my group. It is funny how things can turn around pretty quickly. Like four days ago I found M107 at a heli crash site, and I was carrying a coyote pack belonging to one of my group members filled with good stuff. And having my toolbelt almost completed. So me and two others were up in NE airfield looking for loot. Having found nothing we headed back. My two group mates head back before me and we were to catch up at a building later down the road. I got a bit behind because of my location. When I crawl to avoid zombies, I have a feeling and take a look back to see if I was tailed, and what do I see? A guy standing right behind me as he shoots me in the back. I die and lose all my great gear. I was so pissed. It is amazing how I didn't hear him while crawling, I guess I was too occupied by the zombies. My mates tries to head back to my body, but one of them gets shot, wounded and they decide to abort, not knowing how many people were tailing us, or the exact location of the shooter. My gear is gone and I just have so low morale at this point, having to find a new sniper rifle... So I start the long journey from spawn to meet up with my group when they find a heli crash site. They wait for me to arrive and I get the DMR which dropped, so I have a new sniper rifle. Hooray! When we are done with the heli we go up to the woods and talk about our next move. One guy in the group sees a cow on the field and decides to get some meat. The next second he is shot at in the back (but they were too incompetent to hit), we quickly spread out and position ourselves and locate the enemy targets. There are two guys taking shots at us, probably realizing we just looted the heli crash, or they didn't see that we were more than one person. Everyone in the team opens fire, I roll out my DMR and snipe one of them, they drop pretty fast. We then go to loot their bodies and get two full kits from everything I lost. Maps, compass, backpacks etc. Even tho I like M107 more than DMR I am more than happy that everything turned around within 1 hour and I was back in gear and ready to roll for new adventures. Lesson learned: Don't open fire until you identified your enemy. In numbers and gear.

Well, put your request and I will get back to whoevers item I find first. I have a M107 with 3 clips which is pretty rare. But since this is a sniper you may not want to trade your range finder for this gun... Had some other rare stuff too but the tents got wiped in server crash which blows.

Our two tents were wiped after server crash.

I will say it again. Because so many stupid people comment in this thread. It is PITCH BLACK on some monitors, IT DEPENDS ON YOUR MONITOR AND MONITOR SETTINGS. And perhaps even graphic cards. So having 100% black, which is HTML code #000000 is NOT realistic. WHEN YOU CAN'T SEE YOUR CHARACTER! Stop being so narrowminded and retarded, not everyone can see the game the same way as you can.

The heli radar explains why I saw a heli flying around the map at night time. Just to find vehicles and steal peoples shit. If one group of people owns all the 8 helis, no other players stand a chance. Radar needs to go, now.

The answer to this thread is simple. Helicopter bullshit radar. Don't place your vehicles near your tents.

Wow this is total bullshit. No wonder I can't find a SINGLE vehicle in game, when people are flying around with choppers taking every single vehicle. This radar shit must BE GONE. SERIOUSLY.

So if you have a heli, you can find other peoples vehicles by like, tabbing?!
