    Need a help with add Server options

    This is very difficult due to it being very bugged I still do not know a way around it, best bet is the Tungle forums

We are currently adding more lights to every time uses a editor, though as you can imagine this is a time consuming little side project though we have completed Cherno and a few other little towns. Firstly children zombies never ever going to happen in any game you will ever play. Children is off limits to almost every game I have played EXCEPT though bioshock, how that got that in their I will never know maybe because they were really creepy? Though I’m not going to be one who implements it. Though it would be really %$^&*ed up. Secondly the thing with the survivor zombie we are looking into reanimating your dead body once you die so the character/zombie drops their weapons were they died and then roam around were you died so you would have to kill them to take their stuff back which would be fun. With weapons though it needs new animations and as such and are out of the range of our dev staff at this point in time. Currently I’m thinking of two ways, first is the way it is, such as they spawn on sometimes zombies other times the military bases and you know how it is currently with nothing changed except spawning on zombies more offer. The second thing is a newish system that I haven’t even approached the team about and it works off levelling with the humanity and different terrorist costumes for bandits and Commander costumes for the Hero’s. Would be difficult though will have to look into it As always cheers for the suggestions Bill Hope to see you on the server Cheers
  4. Great to know your enjoying yourself. We have expanded the lights system by adding extra lights to the surrounding cities on the coast and eventually inland. With the zombies, I think there should be female ones do you not think? We also are in the process of adding new skins that you can pickup such as policeman, doctor, medic, pilot and many many more. Good to see one of our originals back on Possum Your suggestions are fantastic and I have been pushing death to implement them for the past few hours I’m sure it will be seen rather soonish Though due to the nature of the Arma engine some may take well a rather amount of time to see well actually all of them except the Car damage one you will most likely be able to expect to see done within the next fortnight.   8. To Bill I completely understand your point. All is good :) Last night i took your loadout for a slin With regards to the tiredness system i was not aware of how long it took for recovery time. Today we will be scaling down the recovery time and other aspects of tiredness system. Though if you are spriting (double tap W) it will degrade the same rate. Though I will continue to look into this matter. As with the zombies at heli crash we have already fixed this problem. As always bill thanks for feedback :)
  9. I was unaware of this error so thank you for bringing it up. I have little knowledge in the actual workings of the updated due to not having programed it. To Bill I understand your frustration with the new system in place, I agree the zombie sounds are not perfect but to hear that the zombie sounds do not work in reference to 3D sound I must disagree with you thier as I have had no problems though this may be because I have the lastest files. Updates have been going daily and these would be relased to the public though as you may be aware we lost 5 servers today at the same time which I have written a long letter to all of them displaying...my displeasure. In reference to the wait system I also am lead to disagree with you. As you may or may not be aware the human body can not actualy carry all that much and still sprint. This as you can see is I presume your loadout. Now In all honesty well down for getting this amount of gear good effort :) Your problem though is see the machine gun? Well it is actually not that heavy around five kilograms. The ammo as you can imagine being 930 5.56 Rounds would weigh a decent amount like I mean If you had that on your back you would be very luck to run for Im not sure 1-2 minutes at the max? I belive this certain loadout is over 50KG correct me if im wrong but for any soldier who is also carrying a machine gun it would be very very difficult to run let alone sprint flat out for that amount of time. As with the darkness what you need to do is simply stop, just stop for a few minutes and let your poor ghile man catch his breath because he has done some serious running. I take the blame for adding in the realism though if you want to make it eaiser to play this game it isnt that hard. 1. There are over 100+ vechials on this map it is not hard to find them as the should be used for there main purpose, transport 2. Get ride of some of that ammo, you honestly do not need that much maybe 2 mags AT THE MOST for that gun, the ammo spawns everwhere and im postive a soldier or even a crazed/parnoid civiialn would not cart that ammo for days and days on end. I hope this helps and displays the reasons why we have added this certain things in to at least tackle some kind of emersion into the game and im always happy to justify mine and the dev teams choices for anyone that asks. Hope that you soon return to the server and attempt to have a crack at letting yourself be drawn into the game Cheers thatguyjames

Goodmorning everyone Sorry for last nights complications it seems our admin pannel decided it would be a good idea to eat fecease whilt jumping off the international hotel. everything seems to be working now so we thank you for your patience and apolgise for the incovience. On a lighter note you may be aware all our dev team is Aussie (go aussie!) though this presents its problem, so we now are accepting applications for adminship so if you want to be apart of pm on the forums or jump on the teamspeak :D Looking into that right now you may have to rejoin again because you are not on the ban list

  16. Thanks everyone for the support we are getting it seems we are starting to actually get some players on which is fantastic! It is all up to guys, so if you want to see something added be sure to tell us and we will see what we can do. Later this afternoon we should be able to see a released change-log and also a new video within the next few days! And thanks for telling us about Commander Bill that is something I have not heard, as always the best way to connect to a server is via direct IP or with or own launcher. Cheers TGJ

  19. If you are having problems joining the server make sure you update with your updater..oh just a hint we put in new zombies sounds :P
  20. All these are ideas in thier own right are fantastic, this includes such things as jumping which we are looking into intergrating with more advance movments such as cover system. Providing an authentic game as possible is what we are always trying to archive and in the future we hope to make it happen. As with poeple acusing us of using other peoples scripts, much of it is from other people you are right though we also are writing our own code and also devving our own map changes such as more military sercret bases and lights added in more towns. Not to mention the changes in the loot table that took HOURS of work for somthing very simple.Sorry spelling on my phone Cheers TGJ

I completely see where you are coming from Mr.Bill though they why I see it our server is being built up on the little things that we can grab from the community and implement them into the game the ideas that you are suggesting such as drinking from ponds and as such are all doable they are not out of our reach and they are things that the community wants so we are striving to fur fill the wants at this point in time. Though we do fully realise what dayz needs such as zombies running in doors and limbs flying off and much much much more gore. Though these things are out of control, our dev team is tiny and dealing with things that the main company cannot change is out of our reach...for the time binging. Though as always thank you for the remarks these are really helping us to move forward with the project. Cheers TGJ

Firstly we will be adding the torches to guns as soon as our programmer has completed the work as for zombies running inside that is more difficult because that is the arma engine though we shall increase there speed soon :) with the can opene that is a fantastic idea and we at now considering should see it around soonish thanks for that :D
  24. I highly doubt they will look at it, but yes to see it in the stand alone would be amazing and to add it should be that hard *winkwink*. Though we are still always working on the mod to add new weapons, scripts and vechials currently to the distaste of the other admins I am working on making an authentic look spawns such as havings AK varients instead of the M variets of weapons and changing the model of the heli crash but this is all hush hush ;) We shall see how that works
  25. Also if you were to read the post and the video, changing the zombie count was not even close to the only thing we changed. Besides if you are realsing changes that can be made in the mission folder what is the point in releasing your own modifications? No offense intentened but I believe you may be misinformed in this matter. Cheers
