    Let beard continuous growing (ofc, not until de floor). Note: beard already grow ingame but just a little. My point is, imagine meet or kill someone looking like Gandalf? You would know that this guy is a veteran surviver. It would be a nice / simple feature to implement. More advanced: You can cut the beard, which will give you some options like mustache and goatee.
