Hello,
I hope everybody is well...
Basically, I have been playing DayZ on console for a couple of years now and had the opportunities to work on a couple of servers.
I have been coming up against DDoS on many of the servers that I have been playing on.
It's really frustrating and ruins the gaming experience for thousands of people.
I wanted to suggest a solution which could completely avoid DayZ PS4 Console Servers from being attacked.
I purpose that the DayZ Developers remove the feature that shows the servers IP ADDRESS publicly when the server is restarting.
This information should be private to be honest but I 100% believe that if the IP ADDRESSES are hidden when restarting these attackers won't be able to get this information so easily.
These DDoS usually leads to a lot of server lag and glitches end up being found. This solution could potentially solve a 2-in-1 problem.
Thank you for hearing me out.
