Since the Radio is already an item in the game, I doubt it’d be hard to add. The radio would probably be an uncommon spawn in Industrial and Residential spawns, and would simply be a server-wide chat tool. Talking into the radio would broadcast the message to everybody in the server with a radio and in the correct channel. Could also be implemented for typing as well. Would be a fun gadget to have.

I’m all for taking fresh beach spawns with me when I’m fully geared and finding them supplies, but you can never know what their previous life was or how they died. Maybe they were a 200 murder bandit and got headshot by a doorway. Anyway the only reason I’d ever be reluctant to pick up new players is because you can never be sure they’re not going through your pack when you’re both stopped. The game should have a louder, clear sound for when somebody is opening your backpack.

- 1a) Blood should regenerate by itself very slowly, maybe around 10 blood/minute, which onloy results in 600 blood/hour of gametime. - 1b) Eating food shouldn't give you instant blood, rather eating a piece of meat, for example should let you regenerate 1000 over 2 minutes. Canned food regenerates 200 blood over 2 minutes. 2) Blood should regenerate only when your food level is above orange. It would regenerate at around 50-80 blood/minute, and eating foods' only purpose is to bring up the food bar so you can regenerate. Meat could just regenerate the food bar more so than canned food to maintain the balance. Blood regen would be disabled when bleeding. - You cannot log out if a zombie is less than 50 meters from you/aggro'ed on you - You cannot log out if a player that's orange(unknown) is than 50 meters from you - You cannot log out if you have shot in the past 3 minutes - You cannot log out if somebody is aiming at you (for stuff like robbing, etc) - Alt+F4ing/Losing connection results in your character staying in the game for 60 additional seconds - You can't see items that are on the ground for 3 minutes when you log in to a server - Zombies are less likely to make you start bleeding, but do more damage on hit - Steel bolts stack in 5's

- "Shot in the past 3 minutes." Dislike, what if I'm clearing a path through some zombie's to get to my safe place? - Then you should hold out at your safe place for another 3 minutes. If you shot getting to it, you can shoot to hold out at it - "Alt+F4ing/Losing connection" - Would be kinda gay to get dropped due to net issues and to come back dead - Well then honestly it's their fault. Plus, im guessing around 90% or more of everybodys' time is spent not in combat. Games/mods can't cater to people with an unstable internet connection in exchange for a huge problem, which is people logging out in combat - "You can't see items..." - I think it should be more like cannot spawn items if under a minute for example - Anything that works for people server hopping for loot lol - "Bleeding over damage done" - What would bandages be for then? - It's simply less often, I'm not talking like a huge decrease but IMO zombies aren't the main threat in DayZ, and the damage they do should be primarily temporary. Plus there are still a lot more things to bleed from - "Steel bolts stack in 5's" - Yep, as long as there's a long reload time - I don't mind if the reload takes the same time; the crossbow owuld still work the same way. Just that the bolts are stacked Fixed the typos, otherwise thanks for your input

I'm playing on the latest ARMA 2, Arrowhead and DayZ patches. Everytime I try to join a DayZ server it just gives me the message: Bad version, server rejected connection. Why?

So I just got everything working but all of a sudden everything's really dark. I'm not sure if it's at night or early in the morning or something, but I've been in the game for a pretty long time and nothing's changed. Why is it so dark? Also, how do I type to other players?

The way I fixed it was I downloaded the beta, then put this into the Launch Arma2 OA Beta Patch located in C - Program files (x86) - Steam - steamapps - common - arma 2 operation arrowhead. In Target: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" "-beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion" "-mod=C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2;Expansion;ca;@dayz" -nosplash Start in: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\" In properties. -
